Ling Pengyun and the Ling Clan joined the Hundred Spirits Sect’s campaign, helped capture a spirit vein, and fought the Rock Armor Apes while the clan secretly arranged Old Devil Li’s death. The campaign escalated when the demon beasts launched a massive counterattack against the sect’s forces and the five clans’ captured territory.

• Ling Pengyun reunited with Yang Qiuyun, attended Yang Siling and Wu Yan’s wedding, and learned that the Ling Clan had to send thirty cultivators to the Demon Extermination War.
• Ling Pengyun agreed to fight in the campaign and studied the Earthly Fiend Sword Formation while Ling Yunhong prepared the clan’s forces and arranged with Wu Yan and Yang Siling to ambush Old Devil Li.
• The five clans sent their cultivators to Huai River Market Town, where the clans accepted a mission to capture a spirit vein occupied by Stone Armor Apes.
• Ling Yunhong and Luo Minghui killed Old Devil Li, then returned to help lead the clans’ assault on the Rock Armor Apes at Rock Armor Ape Mountain.

Ling Pengyun and the Ling Clan survived the Serpent Dragon Lake hunt, returned home, and helped the Immortal Spirit Crane King establish its Foundation Establishment. Ling Pengyun developed Autumn Cloud Spirit Rice, refined new artifacts, and learned startling news before leaving Cloudwater Market Town as a Hundred Spirits Sect disciple reported his departure.

• The five clans defeated the demon beast horde at Rock Armor Valley, and Ling Pengyun joined the Ling Clan in hunting the Serpent Dragon Lake region for Contribution Points and resources.
• Ling Yunhong led the Ling Clan through hunts against several demon beast groups, including the Earth Demon Tigers and Flame Tigers, before winter and the loss of Ling Pengyun’s Spirit Seeking Rat forced them to return home.

Ling Pengyun advanced his cultivation while developing Autumn Cloud Spirit Rice, whose sale drew dangerous attention as the Ling and Yang Clans destroyed the Ye Family. After years on Lingyun Mountain, he returned to the clan with Ling Xin and established his bee colony, while a major breakthrough began at Lingxiao Mountain.

• Lin Lan killed Sun Yuan when Sun Yuan ambushed Ling Pengyun, then offered Ling Pengyun his help and returned the Mother-Child Flying Swords to him.
• Ling Pengyun developed Autumn Cloud Spirit Rice, captured Zhu Wen for his talisman-making skills, and learned that the Yang Clan was planning to attack the Ye Family with Ling Yunhong’s help.
