After defending the clan and rescuing Huai River Market Town, he returned with spoils and new resources for the Ling Clan, then set out to aid his relatives.

• Ling Pengyun joined Qin Shi’s group to hunt Black Rock Bears, then fought off an ambush by Wang Yun, Jiang Song, and Wei Yan in Serpent Dragon Lake.
• Ling Pengyun helped Qin Shi kill Wang Yun, rescued Yan Siyi, and claimed a large share of Wang Yun’s spoils before returning to Tu Yuan Market Town.
• Ling Pengyun refined the Azure Sea Heavy Yuan Pearl, learned Ling Pengliang had reached Foundation Establishment, and helped the Wind Shadow Peng advance to Foundation Establishment.
• After five Golden Core demon kings attacked Serpent Dragon Lake, Ling Yunhong left to defend it and entrusted the Ling Clan to Ling Pengyun.

The Ling and Yang Clans established a thriving commerce association, while Ling Pengyun’s demon-beast hunts secured materials for a flying boat and the clan prepared to strengthen its spirit veins.

• Ling Pengyun joined Yue Shan’s counteroffensive, helped defeat the Purple Star Demon Wolves and other invading beasts, and fought at Serpent Dragon Lake until the beast tide ended.
• Ling Pengyun returned to Falling Dusk Mountain, reached the Foundation Establishment Eighth Layer, advanced his Fruit Flower Bee King, and made the Ren Water Blue Cloud Grass his second Natal Spirit Plant.
• Ling Yunhong led Ling Pengyun, Ling Pengxing, and Ling Pengliang to Together Yang Mountain, where they destroyed the Bai Family, recovered its holdings, and concealed a partly excavated Micro Spirit Stone Mine.
• Ling Pengyun and Yang Siling secured the Spirit Talisman Old Ancestor’s backing for the Sky Talisman Commerce Association, which the Ling and Yang Clans launched and expanded across three provinces.

Ling Pengyun married Yan Siyi, built a family, and helped the Ling Clan secure a Purple Moon Spirit Tree before setting out with Ling Yunhong to seek a Golden Core opportunity. Their journey across the Boundless Sea Region brought them into a demon-beast assault, after which they continued onward underwater.

• Ling Pengyun completed the Wind Cloud Flying Boat, married Yan Siyi, and later helped her advance her cultivation before they learned she was pregnant.
• Ling Pengyun and Yan Siyi welcomed Ling Xia, and the family elders retired to Falling Dusk Mountain.
• Ling Pengyun helped his clan claim and conceal a Purple Moon Spirit Tree, then repaired Yang Siling’s foundation without revealing his role.
• After obtaining the Two Forms True Profound Art for Ling Xia, Ling Pengyun left with Ling Yunhong to pursue a Golden Core opportunity.
• Ling Pengyun and Ling Yunhong traveled by teleportation arrays across the Boundless Sea Region and reached Wrathful Whale Marketplace as the Wrathful Blood Spirit Whale Clan attacked.
• Nameless drove off the whale demons, and Ling Pengyun and Ling Yunhong left the marketplace and continued their journey underwater aboard the Black Armored Turtle.

Ling Pengyun joined the Azure Sea Azure Sky Immortal Sect, achieved the Golden Core Realm, and returned to the human territories with Qian Fei. He discovered that the Poison Blood Sect had devastated the Ling Clan and reunited with relatives who were still struggling to recover.

• Ling Pengyun and Ling Yunhong reached the Azure Sea Azure Sky Immortal Sect, passed its Heart Questioning trial, and accepted Azure Water True Person’s offer to join his lineage.
• While Ling Pengyun cultivated in the sect, the Poison Blood Demon Sect attacked the Ling Clan, and Ling Pengxing destroyed his cultivation fighting the sect leader before Yang Changxing and the Yang Clan helped save the survivors.
• Ling Pengyun formed a Medium Golden Core, survived the lightning tribulation, and received the Golden Core chapters of the Azure Sea Azure Sky Art from Thundercloud True Person.
• Ling Pengyun left the secret realm, recruited Qian Fei from Old Taoist Qian Yuan’s descendants, and defeated two Saint Demon Sect cultivators who tried to ambush him with Jia Mu Zhenren’s help.
