Yes, after returning to tens of thousands of years ago, Roy chose to become the one—or rather, the demon—to show Sargeras the power of the Void Lords.

Since he would become one of the Burning Legion's three great leaders in the future, Roy knew that he was bound to cross paths with the unfallen Sargeras. Building that connection would inevitably be a long process. Moreover, given Roy's identity as a demon, he had to act cautiously to avoid being directly destroyed by the unfallen Sargeras. He needed to protect himself while also possessing enough leverage to draw Sargeras's attention. After much consideration, the only possible entry point was the Old Gods.

In Roy's view, Sargeras of this era might already have come into contact with Void Power, but he probably had never encountered the Old Gods. Not just Sargeras—even the Titans of the entire Pantheon might have lacked sufficient understanding of the Old Gods.

Faced with Sargeras's startled questioning, Roy introduced them, saying, "These terrifying creatures have a collective name: the Old Gods. They are not creatures born of the material world, but came from the Void. You can regard them as manifestations of Void Power!"

"These things came from the Void?" Sargeras frowned at Roy. "How could the Void produce something like this?"

A savage grin appeared on Roy's face. "The normal Void would not produce such things. As we discussed before, pure Void Power is inert by nature. It only passively erodes matter that falls from the real world into the Void. But the problem is that something has emerged within the Void—beings beyond ordinary Void creatures. It, or rather, they, are one with the Void: massive entities composed entirely of Void Power. And they possess intelligence and consciousness. Driven by that intelligence and consciousness, they are turning
