Watching Elune leave, Roy let out a sigh that was equal parts regretful and helpless. Then he waved his hand, and countless chunks of rubble floated over, restoring the roof he had destroyed earlier and blocking out the moonlight streaming down from above.

Roy's premonition had been correct. Though his exchange with Elune had been brief, he had indeed gained much from it. Elune had not mentioned it outright, but the implications behind those words confirmed something for him: before him, other Abyss Demons had come to this world, and they had been searching for something.

This inevitably made Roy think of Lilith. Lilith had once told him that she had come in pursuit of the Creator's traces. It could be confirmed that the Creator had ultimately vanished within this universe. And since Lilith had headed into the depths of the Twisting Nether, the place where the Creator had disappeared must have been in the deepest reaches of the void.

At first, Roy had not thought much of it. Lilith's desire to follow in the Creator's footsteps stemmed from her own feelings and had little to do with him. Roy had never had any connection with that legendary Creator, so naturally, there was no reason for him to follow Lilith.

But judging from the information Elune had revealed, the deepest reaches of this universe's void were probably more than just where the Creator had departed. Perhaps the Creator had left something behind there.
