Background

Qian Renxue was sent from Spirit Hall to infiltrate the Heaven Dou royal family while still young. Forced to live as the male heir Xue Qinghe for over a decade, she grew up amid palace intrigue with little parental care and uncertainty over whether she would ever openly live as a woman. 64 239

As Xue Qinghe, she used her position to protect Chi Xiu during a Heaven Dou Royal Academy assessment. When an examiner turned a physical test into an attack, she demanded his dismissal and threatened to press the emperor for an overhaul of the academy's leadership. 32
