Chi Xiu led Purple Star Academy through the tournament while drawing closer to Shui Binger, Qian Renxue, and Xiao Wu, and helped Qian Renxue unite the Heaven Dou and Star Luo Empires. After returning to his family and traveling to the Land of Extreme North, he brought A Yin and Ice Empress to the Purple Star Sect, then resumed training his teammates and fell for Liu Dezhi’s illusion.

• Snow Empress reunited with Chi Xiu, and Xue Wuyang called him “Papa” for the first time.
• Chi Xiu led Purple Star Academy to victories over Skywater, Shrek, Blazing, Light, and Kamikaze Academies, while Shui Binger defeated Holy Spirit Academy and ended its winning streak.
• Chi Xiu discovered that Shui Binger had recognized him as 0000, and after she confronted him, he took responsibility for her.
• Chi Xiu killed Xue Beng at Qian Renxue’s request, then helped her force Dai Mubai to agree to merge the Star Luo Empire with Heaven Dou.
• Qian Renxue revealed herself as a woman and took the Heaven Dou throne as Empress, appointing Chi Xiu Imperial Tutor.
• Holy Spirit Academy forfeited against Purple Star Academy, and Chi Xiu forced Tang San to kneel, kowtow, and slap himself before Xiao Wu confessed that she liked him.

Chi Xiu and his allies discovered a future continent behind a barrier and learned that its people planned to travel into the past to plunder Douluo Continent’s resources. The arrival of an older Xue Wuyang revealed her connection to Chi Xiu and the future invasion, though she left much of their shared history unexplained.

• Chi Xiu advanced to level 97 after training with Snow Empress and Ice Empress, then took Xue Wuyang to Sea God Island with Poseidon.
• Chi Xiu broke the Sea God Trident, and a newly appeared continent emerged beyond a barrier that he identified as an advanced Soul Guidance Device.
• Chi Xiu warned Qian Renxue and Bibi Dong about the continent, and Spirit Hall mobilized forces to guard the coast as Chi Xiu cracked the barrier with his ninth soul skill.
• Poseidon learned from the Sea God that the continent had traveled fifty thousand years into the past and could repeatedly plunder Douluo Continent’s resources before returning to an earlier point in time.
• At Xue Wuyang’s urging, Chi Xiu opened a gap in the barrier and rescued an exhausted older Xue Wuyang, who said she was fifty thousand years old and called him her little lover.
• After waking, older Xue Wuyang reunited with Chi Xiu and explained that the Sun Moon Federation had built a time machine to travel back to an era rich in energy and plunder its resources.
• Xue Wuyang admitted that she had lived in the Sun Moon Federation’s imperial palace and escaped because she wanted to return to the past and see Chi Xiu, while leaving their long separation unexplained.

Chi Xiu and Xue Wuyang traveled through the past, where Chi Xiu killed Tang San after he attacked Bai Chenxiang, then crossed into the Sun Moon Continent to take Xu Ruocheng hostage. As Xue Wuyang faced death from the lightning inside her, Xu Ruolan warned that an invasion was imminent, and Chi Xiu gathered allies to prepare for both offense and defense.

• Xue Wuyang and Chi Xiu visited the past, where she met her grandparents and young Chi Anran before they followed Tang San to the Speed Clan’s gathering.
• After Tang San tried to violate Bai Chenxiang, Chi Xiu killed him and Tang Xiao, destroyed the Clear Sky Sect’s forces, and helped Bai Chenxiang bury her grandfather and Tang San.
• Chi Xiu and Xue Wuyang traveled with Bai Chenxiang to Heaven Dou City, where lightning from Xue Wuyang killed Dai Mubai and Chi Xiu contained it before it harmed others.
• Chi Xiu and Xue Wuyang entered the Sun Moon Continent, made their way toward the capital, and encountered Xu Ruolan, who abducted them before helping them reach the palace.
• Chi Xiu took Xu Ruocheng hostage and brought him back to Douluo Continent as leverage, while Xue Wuyang stayed behind and concealed the deadly cracks spreading across her body.
• Xu Ruolan escaped the palace and warned Chi Xiu that Xu Liangshi was preparing an invasion with ten Level 10 Soul Guidance Cannon Shells.
• Chi Xiu gathered Gu Yuena, Di Tian, Ziji, Snow Empress, and Ice Empress to join the coastal forces, then proposed both attacking and defending with no more than two people in the offensive.
