In any Pantheon, they would have been standard equipment for its core fighting force.

The five sets of Abyssal Barrier hovering before Dawn, Sword Master in the Snow, Water God, Evergreen, and Season Star broke apart into individual pieces. They became streaks of black light and flew toward them.
The light touched their bodies without the slightest impact.
Cool armor plates settled against their skin. As though alive, they fastened themselves, extended, and formed heavy full-body armor that fit each wearer perfectly.

As the final plate locked into place, a dense, weighty sense of power surged from within the armor and swept through their bodies.
All five sank slightly under its weight.
They could feel an invisible bond forming among them through the armor they wore.
It was as though their life forces had been joined into one unbreakable whole.
"I feel like... I could take an axe blow from Bone King head-on," Water God muttered. He clenched his fist, savoring the boundless sense of safety the armor gave him.
Season Star moved her arms and legs. Energy hummed faintly at the joints of her black armor, but her movements showed no hint of sluggishness.
"This isn't just defense." Data streams flickered in her eyes. "Its energy transmission efficiency and neural response speed beat every exoskeleton I've ever designed. Guild Master, how does it work?"
