Light Snow moved so fast her hands left afterimages. Several virtual screens unfolded beside Dragon Soaring World, complex streams of energy data cascading down them.
"Guild Leader, the scan results are in!" Light Snow said urgently. "There are three high-energy signatures behind the Sin Legion. I've marked them all!"
A map of the vast western badlands of the North American War Zone expanded across the screen. Three glaring red dots formed a triangle, more than a hundred kilometers from the main battlefield.
"These aren't camps or staging areas." Light Snow pointed to one of the dots. The enlarged three-dimensional model made everyone draw a sharp breath.
It was a massive altar built from twisted flesh, metal, and unknown purple crystals. At its center, a huge purple vortex turned slowly. With each rotation, it spat out several fully formed Sin Demons, which silently joined the line marching toward the battlefield.
"Holy shit..." Blood War Eight Wastelands leaned in for a look, his eyes bulging. "That's a goddamn demon factory!"
"All three signatures are identical Sin Beds!" Light Snow's voice grew graver. "They're producing Sin Demons nonstop! And I've detected an energy source lying dormant beside each bed that's at least as powerful as Korsas, the Quasi-god we faced earlier!"
The entire Team Channel fell silent.
Raid the demons' production line? While facing three Quasi-god-level guards?
How was that any different from charging straight into a death trap?
"Guild Leader, isn't that... way too risky?" one team leader muttered over the channel. "Glato already dealt us a blow. If we go after this and get pinned down, the demons in front and behind will surround us. We'll be mincemeat!"
"He's right, Guild Leader. Please reconsider!"
Voices of protest rose one after another.
But Dragon Soaring World seemed not to hear them. He
