The Alliance Takes Shape, Aberrant Beasts Attack the City

"Heaven blesses Yan Country? Gentlemen, I can't possibly take credit for that." Qin Chuan waved his hands.

The elders burst out laughing, and the mood grew relaxed and cheerful.

"Mister Qin, we've all seen what you've done for Yan Country. You deserve those words: 'Heaven blesses Yan Country!'" one elder said earnestly.

Qin Chuan didn't think he had done anything earth-shattering. He had simply done what he could. But since the elders saw it that way, there was no need to make a fuss.

"You give me too much credit. I've only done what I could. We still need to work out the details of the alliance," Qin Chuan said, changing the subject.

"Of course." Another elder nodded. "We've drafted a charter. Take a look and see if there's anything you'd like to add."

With that, he handed Qin Chuan a document.

Qin Chuan took it and skimmed through it.

The charter was detailed, covering the alliance's purpose, structure, members' rights and obligations, resource allocation, and more. Overall, it was fair and took the interests of all parties into account.

Of course, Qin Chuan personally had no need for an alliance.

All the allies put together couldn't beat him.

But Qin Chuan had a greater goal in mind.

When the Gods descended upon this world again, what would be the point if he was the only one left alive after the fighting?

Gathering his thoughts, Qin Chuan closed the document and nodded. "The charter is thorough. I have nothing to add."

After a pause, he continued, "I do suggest setting up a dedicated operations department within the alliance to handle emergencies, such as Monster Sieges and disputes over resources. It will need considerable autonomy. Its people should be able to make decisions on the ground instead of filing a report
