High-Stakes Battle, Water Domain

Qin Chuan studied the stone statue before him.

First the Divine Temple barrier, then the blood altar. After all that commotion, this statue had to be something extraordinary.

The statue was exquisitely crafted, surely the work of a master artisan.

Though it had been sealed underground for who knew how many years, it still looked as lifelike as ever.

It had four heads, each with three eyes gazing in a different direction.

A huge cobra coiled around its body, its head raised high and poised to strike.

It had ten arms wielding all manner of weapons: a trident, a bow and arrows, a Golden Wheel, and more.

At first glance, the statue seemed to radiate an inexplicable divine glow that made people want to bow down before it.

But look a little longer, and a chilling aura of evil became impossible to miss.

"Is that Shiva?" Water God sounded puzzled. "That thing is way too sinister! What the hell have the Indians been worshipping?"

"No. That isn't Shiva."

Qin Chuan shook his head.

"Or rather, it looks like Shiva, but it's really a statue corrupted by Evil Power."

Season Star frowned. "Corrupted by Evil Power? Are you saying the same thing happened here as in the Southern Yue Region?"

"Very likely." Qin Chuan nodded. "Get ready to fight. If it's a powerful enemy, that might actually be an opportunity. If one of you manages to open a domain, it'll be worth it."

The others saw his point.

Their enemies were only getting stronger. Rather than dwell on it, they had to press forward. If they became strong enough, like the guild leader, they would fear no challenge.
