Qin Chuan held the wisp of deep blue Soul Fire in his palm and let it flicker and struggle.
The flame was faint, but it contained pure Death Power and a trace of Divinity.
"I'll find a place to put this later. Study it and see if it gives you any ideas," Qin Chuan said.
"Thank you, Guild Leader."
Everyone was smiling, eager to get started.
They had all seen what Night Cherry Tangle had done. He had taken down a Demigod Bone Dragon with ease. If they could ignite Divine Fire too, surely they could do the same.
In the crowd, Mirror asked curiously, "Guild Leader, aren't you going to use the Soul Fire?"
"Me?" Qin Chuan shook his head. "It won't do much for me. My Shadow Power is far more profound."
"I see."
Mirror nodded, though she only half understood.
"All right, start studying it." Qin Chuan clapped his hands, urging them to make the most of their time. "If you can fully understand this Soul Fire, you shouldn't be far from igniting Divine Fire yourselves."
His words surprised them, but excitement soon took over.
Could it really be that simple?
"Guild Leader, do you mean we can ignite our own Divine Fire, just like Ye Ge?"
The Water God's eyes widened with anticipation.
"In theory." Qin Chuan smiled. "This Soul Fire holds the Bone Dragon's experience of igniting Divine Fire. If you can understand it, it'll be as though you've gone through the process yourselves. But the form and power of Divine Fire differ from person to person. You'll need to find your own path to ignite a Divine Fire that's uniquely yours."
"That sounds a lot more interesting than simply increasing Divinity." Season Star rubbed her hands together. "I can't wait to try."
