As the crowd cheered them on, the castle collapsed faster and faster, and more of it was swallowed by the Shadow Domain.
As the castle merged with it, the landscape within the Shadow Domain began to change.
The mountains and rivers, once little more than vague outlines, grew clearer and more real. A black structure even appeared within the Shadow Domain: a projection of the castle.
"Holy crap, it actually works!" Water God exclaimed. "Guild leader, could you use your Shadow Domain as a warehouse someday? That'd be so convenient!"
"A warehouse? Think bigger!" Dawn clapped Water God on the shoulder. "This is a Divine Kingdom! You know what that means? We're going to be its citizens!"
"Citizens of a Divine Kingdom? That sounds so over-the-top..." Sword Master in the Snow muttered.
"So what if it does? You can still save the world while being over-the-top!" Dawn shot back.
"All right, stop arguing." Season Star cut them off. "The guild leader's still busy. Don't distract him."
Only then did everyone quiet down.
The castle gradually vanished, until the Shadow Domain had swallowed it whole.
As the castle disappeared, so did the night that had shrouded the area. Everyone found themselves back in the Undead World.
"Done!"
Qin Chuan slowly opened his eyes and let out a long breath.
"Guild leader, did it work?"
Everyone hurried over to ask.
"Of course it did." Qin Chuan smiled. "The Shadow Domain's evolution progress went up quite a bit. It's at about five percent now."
"Five percent? Already?"
Everyone was astonished.
"And this is just the beginning." Anticipation flashed in Qin Chuan's eyes. "If we can find more fuel for it, the Shadow Domain will evolve even faster."
