At Lingxu Grotto-Heaven, Fang Qing and the others obtained the opening passages of the Dao Scripture.

Even after beginners first read the Dao Scripture, it was exceedingly difficult for them to skillfully employ the sensing method recorded within it.

Most beginners needed one or two months to sense the Wheel of Life. Those with talent needed more than ten days before they could sense it.

Wu Qingfeng was very curious about when Fang Qing would sense the Wheel of Life, and he was somewhat looking forward to it.

"Sensing the Wheel of Life? This does not seem very difficult."

Fang Qing sat cross-legged and followed the sensing method recorded in the Dao Scripture to sense his Wheel of Life.

"The Purple Haze Skill of the martial arts world and the Longevity Art of the Great Tang World both follow the same core principles: Refining Essence into Qi, Refining Qi into Spirit, Refining Spirit to Void, and Refining Void to Dao. It is just that most martial artists spend their entire lives on the path of Refining Essence into Qi and cannot achieve Refining Qi into Spirit. In worlds like Fengyun World, however, martial artists can cultivate to the stage of Refining Qi into Spirit and form things such as sword dao Primordial Spirits."

Fang Qing looked at the abundant true qi within his lower dantian and considered some of the similarities and differences between what he had learned and the methods of the Shrouding Heavens Realm.

From the perspective of Refining Essence into Qi, the initial cultivation of martial artists in martial arts worlds was actually quite similar to the Shrouding the Heavens Method. Both made use of the lower dantian.

The difference was that martial artists emphasized transforming acquired essence into their own essence, then into true qi and astral qi, storing it within the lower dantian. The Shrouding the Heavens Method, meanwhile, sensed the lower dantian, guided vital essence, struck at the Bitter Sea, and opened the gateway.

One stored it there, while the other opened a larger passage.

From this perspective, the Shrouding the Heavens Method naturally held greater value for cultivation.

Yet in the early stages, the similarities between the two methods were enough to give Fang Qing many advantages.

Thus, Fang Qing circulated the vast true qi he had cultivated and struck at the Bitter Sea.

Three days after entering this world and beginning his cultivation path, he successfully advanced into the Bitter Sea realm.
