Youth, Yu Xiaogang, and Qian Xunji

As a young disciple of Qian Xunji, Bibi Dong fell deeply in love with Yu Xiaogang despite their opposing affiliations. When he withdrew under pressure from his clan and her teacher, she pursued him, protested through a hunger strike, and secured permission for him to join Spirit Hall. Her promises of scholarly recognition and an elder’s position persuaded him to accept 188 189.

Bibi Dong supported Yu Xiaogang’s rise to fame and brought him into the Angel Clan’s restricted inherited library. He published its knowledge as his own theories, earning the reputation of “Master.” Qian Xunji discovered the disclosure, while Bibi Dong declared herself willing to leave Spirit Hall for Yu Xiaogang 189.

Qian Xunji sexually assaulted and confined Bibi Dong, then threatened Yu Xiaogang into abandoning her. She gave birth to Qian Renxue and later killed Qian Xunji after he returned gravely wounded. The assault remained a source of enduring trauma, and her resentment toward Qian Xunji affected her treatment of their daughter 171 179 189 263.

Rule over Spirit Hall

As Pope, Bibi Dong initiated Spirit Hall’s plan to dominate the world through its influence over smaller kingdoms and duchies. When the Heaven Dou Empire recognized that strategy, she angrily demanded a response from Chrysanthemum Douluo and Ghost Douluo. She later personally prepared to visit the empire and meet Xue Ye 80 103.

Her attachment to Yu Xiaogang persisted into her papacy. Learning that he had given another woman a heart-shaped stone identical to hers undermined her belief in their unique bond. Hu Liena’s reports of his flirtation and interest in her further challenged Bibi Dong’s idealized memories 146 169 170 171.

Seeking complete control over Spirit Hall’s internal families, Bibi Dong accepted three strategies proposed by Yu Xiaogang. Qian Renxue warned that the resulting decrees endangered Spirit Hall, but Bibi Dong interpreted the objection as an attempt to protect the Angel Clan’s interests 172 173.

The decrees initially appeared successful: families fell silent after arrests, and Bibi Dong threatened to execute a detained family unless others declared their allegiance. She subsequently ordered the execution of a captured family head. The apparent submission concealed preparations for rebellion 178 183 185.

Soul Master families defected and burned Spirit Hall branches across the continent, stripping the organization of roughly half its strength. Bibi Dong erupted in anger, then lost her fighting spirit. The Enshrinements formally removed her as Pope and temporarily assumed control 185 187.

Fabricated Memories and Dan Heng

Before her downfall, Bibi Dong tried to discredit Dan Heng’s fidelity through a staged encounter involving a woman and aphrodisiac incense. He discovered her watching from an adjoining room, rejected the temptation, and warned her against further provocation. She remained unwilling to stop even after the Rakshasa God advised her not to anger him 151.

After losing her position and confronting Yu Xiaogang’s true character, Bibi Dong became unresponsive. The Rakshasa God demanded that Qian Renxue and Hu Liena bring Dan Heng to help unlock her emotional paralysis 187 188.

The god showed Dan Heng Bibi Dong’s past and asked how he would have acted in Yu Xiaogang’s place. Those answers became a fabricated alternate life in which “Dan Heng” refused to abandon her, endured years of hardship, and offered to care for both her and Qian Renxue. These scenes were not an actual shared history between Bibi Dong and Dan Heng 188 189 190 193.

Bibi Dong recovered, abandoned her attachment to Yu Xiaogang, and developed an intense fixation on the real Dan Heng. She demanded that he work for her and threatened everything he cherished if he refused. Gu Yuena intervened, and the Rakshasa God took control of Bibi Dong’s body to remove her from the confrontation 191 192 193.

Return to Authority

Although her deposition remained in effect, Qian Daoliu permitted Bibi Dong to oversee papal authority, judging her otherwise competent and the best available administrator. She resumed control, sought to unite the Soul Master world, and recognized that Spirit Hall could not easily recover while former member families supported the Maple Dan Empire 198 210 215 247.

Her obsession continued outside official duties. She filled her room with paintings of Dan Heng and repeatedly approached him despite his rejection. A fight with Zi Ji escalated when the Rakshasa God possessed her body, prompting Dan Heng to intervene and defeat the god’s manifestation 210 214 216 217.

Bibi Dong later claimed that she wanted to repair her relationship with Qian Renxue, privately treating reconciliation as a means of approaching Dan Heng. Nevertheless, she also risked provoking the Angel Martial Soul to assist her daughter’s awakening and caught Qian Renxue when the completed awakening left her weakened 263 270 271.

Godhood and the Maple Dan Empire

Bibi Dong attacked the Slaughter King when he sought her help against Dan Heng. Soon afterward, she became the new Rakshasa God. Ascension did not persuade her to challenge Dan Heng directly: she remembered that even her divine predecessor had been powerless against him 282 283 286.

Other gods recruited her to act against the Maple Dan Empire’s ferocious beasts. She defeated them with clones and poison, disregarding the citizens who defended their rulers. Once she learned of the beasts’ ties to Dan Heng, however, she abandoned the agreement and spared them 286 288.

When the gods offered greater rewards, Bibi Dong lent them divine power to trigger another Heavenly Tribulation. She then blocked that tribulation herself, suffering severe injuries. Bi Ji brought her to Dan Heng and Gu Yuena’s home for treatment 290 291.

Amnesia and Refusal to Return

Bibi Dong awoke without recognizing anyone. Zi Ji attempted to exploit the amnesia by claiming to be her mother, but Bibi Dong remained suspicious and eventually fought with her. Even without her memories, she showed interest in Dan Heng and tried to remain in his household 292 293.

Gu Yuena ordered her back to Spirit Hall. Bibi Dong instead hid in a hotel under Zi Ji’s identity, declaring that she wanted a new life. She could vaguely sense that her past contained pain and did not want to recover it 293 302 303.

Qian Renxue and Qian Daoliu continued searching for her, eventually pursuing her in the Maple Dan Empire. Qian Renxue asked Dan Heng to publicly reject Bibi Dong so that she would abandon her romantic fantasies and recover her memories, but Gu Yuena rejected that method as inappropriate 310 314 315.

Dream Manipulation

During the Soul Master Competition, Bibi Dong forcibly subdued the four great Single Attribute Clans. She particularly wanted the Speed Clan as scouts, using threats and divine control to secure obedience 318.

She maintained a connection with Bai Chenxiang and entered the dreams of Zhu Zhuqing, Zi Ji, and Bi Ji. Her illusions exploited their desires and fears, leaving the household unusually subdued the following morning 321.

Reincarnation and the Holy Spirit Cult

In the later era, Qian Renxue reported finding Bibi Dong’s latest reincarnation eighty years earlier. Before she could restore her mother’s memories, the Slaughter King deceived Bibi Dong and drew her into the Holy Spirit Cult, where she became Vice Cult Master 342.

The cult planned to sacrifice entire cities to create more God-level beings. Huo Wu said the method came from a Vice Cult Master; Qian Renxue identified Bibi Dong as its likely source and sought Dan Heng’s help to save her 342 344.

During the final confrontation, Bibi Dong turned against the Holy Spirit Cult Master for harming Qian Renxue. Declaring that her body had been created by him and was compatible with him, she separated her Divine Soul and handed the body over. This transformed the cult master from a Plane Will into a living being vulnerable to death. A cyan strike then pierced the occupied body, destroying him and his consciousness 354.

She repeatedly defends Yu Xiaogang despite contrary evidence, rejects praise of Dan Heng’s achievements, and resists admitting that the man she idealized has exploited her trust.
