Dan Heng lived quietly as a librarian in the Heaven Dou Empire, preferring books and solitude to cultivation, political influence, or romance. Though he studied the Soul Master system, he considered its Soul Power too low-level to continue pursuing and insisted that he was not a Soul Master. Gu Yuena nevertheless recognized his dragon aura and regarded him as a potential savior for the soul beasts. 1 6

He accepted Zhu Zhuqing as his disciple on the condition that she leave after reaching the Soul Emperor realm.
