Background / History

Lin Zhao is the sole heir of the Black Dragon Lin Family. His father, Lin Yuanshan—the “Black Dragon General”—was a Grandmaster Warrior and General of Cavalry who died with his Three Hundred Guards in the Liaodong campaign. Although Lin Zhao inherited the family’s territories in name, Duke Wei Xu Qin’s subordinates seized Furong Manor and Anvil Mountain. Lin Zhao ceded those holdings to Duke Wei to preserve the family’s remaining base at Wulong Pond and Lin Family Fortress. 2

He was not originally from this world. After transmigrating into the body at age ten, he relied on a Proficiency Panel to train the five foundational military martial arts to their mortal limits in less than three years. Believing that survival mattered more than restoring his family’s prestige, he secretly planned to cultivate steadily, avoid political struggles, and eventually gain enough strength to confront supernatural threats and reclaim what was lost. 1 2
