These scenes had no chronological order. Based on Locke En's appearance, He Ao roughly arranged them by time.
The first scene seemed to take place after Locke En obtained the phonograph and returned to the Main World.
He acquired a great deal of occult knowledge from the phonograph, including a ritual that could strengthen "fateful connections."
Combining that knowledge, Locke En came up with the idea of using himself as bait to draw out the High-Level Existence remaining in the ruins.
Then, under the guidance of the whispers, he entered the ruins once more, found an intact floating combat vehicle, and activated the ritual.
He received no response from the living, but he fished out a blood-red olive-shaped Giant Cocoon from the depths of Deep Space.
He Ao sensed the unmistakable power of the three great angels from that Giant Cocoon.
It seemed this Giant Cocoon was the true form of Radiance City.
And once the Giant Cocoon appeared, that scene vanished.
The second scene showed Locke En promoting the Radiance Society in the Main World and cultivating Followers.
In the third scene, Locke En returned to the ruins once again.
He seemed to have found some special ritual. This time, he sacrificed "himself" to the Giant Cocoon.
He himself became the Giant Cocoon's "soul," becoming its controller.
Then, using his connection with his Followers in the Main World, he pulled some of them into the Giant Cocoon and attempted to build Radiance City.
But soon, those people mutated and twisted due to the contamination within the Giant Cocoon.
His plan was declared a failure.
In the fourth scene, Locke En was "chatting" with someone.
That person was Vice President Tiger Cane.
