"What was that?"
The Private Plane crossed the vast sea of clouds as Wu Ganglie's puzzled question came from beside him.
Li Cheng, who had been reading on the sofa, looked up and out the window.
Brilliant sunlight shone upon the endless white clouds, stretching like a grassland.
Above the clouds, in the pristine sky that had previously held only the sun, a massive phantom planet occupying half the sky slowly emerged.
"Is that a 'relic'?"
Wu Ganglie, seated opposite Li Cheng, frowned tightly. "Didn't K destroy that 'Blood Sun Phantom' last time?"
"I'm afraid it isn't a 'phantom.'"
Li Cheng raised his head and gazed at the enormous planet in the sky.
His gaze swept across its verdant colors and the desolate, ruined cities upon it. "That is a real relic."
Before the enormous phantom planet, the shadow of an upright, olive-shaped scarlet object emerged at the same time.
The shadow hovered steadily before the giant planet, as though it were the midpoint linking the two worlds.
Merely looking at that scarlet shadow made Li Cheng feel a violent whisper stirring in his heart.
"Turn your head!"
Li Cheng withdrew his gaze and looked at Wu Ganglie beside him, who was also staring at the sky, his eyes already tinged with scarlet. He shouted quickly.
Faint lightning flashed across his body.
Wu Ganglie, whose gaze had been somewhat entranced, was jolted awake by the shout. He struggled for a moment, withdrew his gaze, and looked at Li Cheng.
The scarlet radiance in his eyes gradually faded as he looked away. As though he had just been hauled out of water, he leaned against the back of the sofa and took several deep breaths.
Then he looked at Li Cheng and said softly, "Something in there seemed to be drawing
