Lin Chichi lost her father at a young age and grew up relying on her mother. Her upbringing left her outwardly gentle and cheerful while making her highly attentive to other people's reactions and motives. 851

Before becoming a Transcendent, she was caught in the Verola incident. There, she worked with “Hao Yi” to solve a killing mystery and ultimately entrusted her life to his plan in order to secure a crucial clue. Afterward, she wrote a dramatic public account of the incident that helped spread awareness more effectively than a formal notice would have. 495 850 1929

She later became a Research Institute special correspondent and publicity worker. Her assignment to interview Hao Yi brought her into contact with He Ao, whom Hao Yi had recommended as a martial-arts teacher. 850 908
