Outside Limen City
The light Floating Fighter streaked through the wilderness sky, racing along the road.
"Boss, are we really charging into the wilderness in this flimsy Floating Fighter?"
Inside the Floating Fighter, a Brown-haired Man who looked to be in his thirties raised his head and looked at Solin, who was piloting the craft ahead, then asked quietly.
"What? You don't trust my skills?"
Solin turned his head to glance at him and asked with a smile.
"It's not that I don't trust you."
The Brown-haired Man hurriedly said, "It's just that this Floating Fighter was originally designed for police use in the city, at most to deal with emergencies in town. Its defenses aren't strong."
"If we run into any particularly powerful flying mutant beasts in the air, it could easily be destroyed."
"Don't worry."
Solin smiled. "This Floating Fighter has been modified."
"Modified how?"
The Brown-haired Man's brow relaxed slightly as he curiously pressed, "Did you reinforce the weapon modules and defense modules?"
"More or less."
Solin answered casually, "I replaced the laser cannon with a stronger one, added some batteries to increase its range, and upgraded the engine too."
"What about the defense modules?"
The Brown-haired Man hurriedly asked, "You didn't modify the defense modules?"
"I modified those too."
Solin nodded. Just as the tightness in the Brown-haired Man's brow eased slightly, he continued, "But because I added too much stuff and made the fighter a little overweight, I cut the defense modules in half."
He smiled as he watched the Brown-haired Man's face grow increasingly rigid.
"This fighter is even flimsier than you think."
The Brown-haired Man's face completely froze. After a brief pause, he slowly said, "Um, Boss, I suddenly remembered that I have something to take care of at home."
"The water in
