Verint, Deputy Director of the Federal Bureau of Investigation and concurrently Director of the Dawn City Federal Bureau of Investigation, held a press conference and announced the Federal Bureau of Investigation's preliminary investigation results.
The findings largely confirmed the information previously mentioned at press conferences in Mint City, Ilan City, and Dawn City.
Verint stated that the investigation indicated this incident was highly likely a violent operation attempting to overthrow the federal Order, led by the three major consortiums—Stars Pharmaceutical, Rockville Energy Group, and Huier Mei Medical Consortium—with Note Intelligence and Vist Steel as accomplices. They had rallied more than a dozen consortiums of varying sizes and colluded with the cult organization, the Starry Sky Worshippers.
That evening, all the major consortiums mentioned by Verint issued responses, claiming the incident had nothing to do with them. They also accused Verint of overstepping his authority by holding a press conference before the Federal Bureau of Investigation headquarters had issued any response.
The Federal Bureau of Investigation headquarters did not respond to the incident.

The Dawn City incident continued to ferment online.
Following the Federal Bureau of Investigation's press conference, Dawn City's Ino Media published an investigative article on the cult organization known as the Starry Sky Worshippers.
In the article, reporters interviewed several suspected cult members from the Starry Sky Worshippers who were being detained in Dawn City and released some information about the organization.
At the end of the article, its author speculated that the Starry Sky Worshippers might have been one of the factors linking the consortiums together in this incident.
Because of its humorous, engaging writing style and its coverage of many hidden details surrounding the Dawn City incident, the article quickly became a viral hit and spread across the entire Federation.
