Night deepened, and the bright moon hung high.
Babbling water flowed through the geometrically designed plaza before the building. Lush greenery taller than a person enclosed the plaza along the stream, cutting it off from the noisy road outside.
"Kai Luo lives here?" Wei Jinna raised her head and glanced at the apartment building before her, where flowing water and greenery surrounded the structure and dark golden light ran across its walls.
"Yes. His home is on the nineteenth floor. When I came to pick him up before, he was already gone from his room.
