"This is the information I gathered from my investigations and inspections in the various cities during this trip." Seth placed a thick stack of documents on the desk, then raised his head and looked at Christos.
"How did it feel?" Christos asked with some curiosity. "You know, I haven't left Dawn City much. I've spent most of my life going around Dawn City. On the rare occasions I did go out, it was because of Dawn City's diplomatic activities, so my understanding of other cities is basically limited to reports and files."
"How should I put it? The Federation was more complicated than I imagined," Seth paused, thinking for a moment, "but also simpler than I imagined."
"How so?" Christos asked, growing even more curious.
"On the complicated side, every city in the Federation has its own problems." Seth thought for a moment and pulled one file from the stack beside him. "For example, in a mining city like Rock City, the problems basically stem from mining. Its related industries are also tied to mining, and the main issue is the exploitation by the mining consortiums."
He pulled out another file. "In an agricultural city like Saint John City, the problems also come from agriculture. The main issue is exploitation by the agricultural consortiums."
He raised his hand and drew out another. "In an industrial city like Kaya City, although the conflicts created by the Nolanka Group, which originally ruled the city, weren't particularly sharp, they still faced all kinds of problems—products that wouldn't sell, employee unemployment, declining living conditions, and corruption and oppression within the group."
He picked up the topmost file from the entire stack. "An energy city like Wente City is rather special. It also
