Chapter 1799: Speech Before Radiance Palace (Big Chapter Seeking Monthly Ticket)
"Is that Radiance Palace?"
Standing in the long procession escorting the coffins, the young man lifted his head and looked at the brilliant palace ahead.
"It should be."
Dester, standing in front of the young man, also raised his head and looked at the brilliant palace, as well as the enormous statue standing before it.
"Who's that tall statue of? Christos? Do that many people in Dawn City like him? They actually put up such a huge statue of him at the entrance to Radiance Palace?" the young man said, somewhat amazed.
"That isn't Christos. It's the first mayor of Dawn City," the Black Clothed Man beside him said slowly. "But the people of Dawn City really do all like Christos."
"That Elenska, the first mayor of Dawn City?" Hearing this, Dester looked up once more at the huge sculpture and asked in some surprise.
"Yes." The Black Clothed Man nodded quickly. Then he raised his head and glanced at the position ahead, slowly walked to the front, and stopped the entire procession.
Some staff members wearing Radiance Palace Security Uniforms came over and began guiding the procession into place.
Only then did the young man standing in the middle of the procession realize that they had already arrived at a broad square. On the ground of the square, projection markers were marking out symbols that flickered with a faint radiance.
They seemed to be some kind of position markers, because the staff members were guiding each coffin to stop beside those symbols.
When the surrounding crowd saw this, the slight unrest from before gradually quieted down.
As the slender coffins spread out across the entire square, a solemn and dignified aura spread through the plaza.
