Anke turned in bewilderment toward the firelight flickering in the darkness and the enormous weapons emerging from it.

The entire Floating Fighter Jet began to shudder. Before Anke could react, it accelerated.

Everyone on the sofas immediately fastened their seat belts.

Geslo, who had been standing, lost his balance and was thrown across the violently shaking aircraft, nearly hitting the floor.

He grabbed a handrail at the edge and steadied himself.

Anke looked out the window. Aircraft were appearing not only ahead of them, but to their left and even behind them.

Brilliant lights lit up the far reaches of the sky. The illuminated aircraft stretched from one end of the night to the other, filling nearly all of it.

Apart from the two peaks rising out of the dim darkness, aircraft flew in almost every direction.

These forces clearly could not have assembled in so short a time.

Only then did Anke realize that the Rockwell Mercenary Group's forces had not failed to detect them. They had discovered them long ago, then hidden nearby and formed an enormous encirclement, waiting for them to venture deep inside like lambs led to slaughter.
