Geslo turned on the computer, looked at the password screen, and fell silent for a moment.
"Look to the right." He Ao's voice sounded beside his ear.
Geslo froze slightly, then turned his gaze to the right in confusion.
A handwriting board stood there, bearing the words: "Password: Visen Engineering Department 123."
Geslo silently withdrew his gaze and entered the password.
With a faint flash of light, the computer entered its main interface.
The computer's interface was not particularly complicated. There were only a few simple files and icons on the desktop.
Geslo quickly opened several of the files. Most of them were engineering documents showing the project's overall progress, along with some contracts and agreements.
Geslo quickly finished reading through the documents, then said hesitantly, "It seems this construction site really isn't meant to build upward, but to dig downward."
He scrolled through the files on the screen. "These engineering records show that they've already dug fifty meters underground, past the city's underground pipeline system, and then..."
He paused slightly. "There's an underground palace beneath that?"
"What do you mean?" He Ao asked hoarsely.
"It seems to say..." Geslo exited the document, searched quickly, found another related file, opened it, and skimmed through it. "Beneath Visen, there is a buried 'city'—a complete city that has suffered almost no damage." He pulled up some photographs and flipped through them quickly. "Judging from these photos, the city's style doesn't seem to be Federation style. It was most likely built before the Federation was established."
He paused slightly. "Was this Visen from before the Federation?"
"Can you find any relevant information online?" He Ao asked slowly.
"I'll try." Geslo nodded, raised his wristband, and quickly searched for terms such as "ancient city," "Visen," and "underground city."
He roughly browsed the results. "There
