This Brother Was a Little Hot-Tempered

The sky grew ever dimmer, the entire firmament filled with blood-colored radiance that dyed the world a deep crimson.

Beneath that darkening sky, the faint starlight that had once been hidden had begun to reveal itself.

Yan Yue walked through the crowd, watching the Research Institute and military police members do their best to calm the noisy, panicked people.

"Look at the sky!"

A cry came from the crowd. "What is that?"

Hearing those words, Yan Yue's first instinct was to warn everyone not to look up. But then she vaguely sensed that something was wrong. The already dim sky seemed to have grown even darker.

She raised her head and looked toward the sky.

The blazing, enormous blood sun still occupied the center of the sky, scattered stars appearing around it. And at that moment, an invisible giant hand was reaching out from among those stars.

That hand was so enormous that it covered most of the sky. Even the colossal blood sun seemed like nothing more than a bright red marble in its palm.

It seemed to have crossed countless stretches of space and time from the deepest reaches of the universe, yet it also seemed to be formed from the starlight of the stars themselves. It stood there as though it had existed there since antiquity.

Yan Yue stared at that invisible giant hand, watching it raise itself and point down at the blood sun, watching a twisted red array form beneath it.

For a moment, she felt as though she had lost all understanding of the size of living beings.

Could an arm this enormous really exist in this world? Wouldn't the owner of this arm be larger than a planet?

As she thought, Yan Yue suddenly realized that she had been looking up
