There was a clock in the Weasley family's sitting room. It did not tell the time, but showed the whereabouts of every member of the household, with labels including "home," "school," "work," "travelling," "missing," "prison," and "mortal peril."

It had seemed interesting at first, but after Pomona watched Arthur's hand shift from "work" to "travelling," then to "home," that interest vanished.

After Arthur returned home and greeted Molly, he went to check on the children. If Pomona had initially thought Molly was very happy, then at that moment, she began to doubt her own understanding of happiness.

Bill and Charlie were already sensible, but that did not mean they would play with their younger siblings. Once they received the Zonko joke products Pomona had given them—a boomerang that could strike repeatedly—they ran outside to play.

Percy was clearly not at school, yet he was seriously doing homework, possibly Charlie's or Bill's. The twins playing with fireworks kept disturbing him. Ron was more interested in sweets, while Ginny chose a children's Golden Snitch.

She even tried to ride Charlie's flying broom under its guidance. Fortunately, Arthur caught her. He had no intention of scolding anyone and instead played a game of lifting Ginny high into the air with her.

Pomona felt that Charlie at least should not have left his flying broom somewhere his younger siblings could reach. Toy brooms would remain at a relatively low height and speed, so that the children riding them would not get hurt. But that was not the most irritating thing. Percy's rat, Scabbers, kept trying to jump onto the dining table, as if it wanted to have tea with them too.

The whole house was full of noisy children, with Arthur added to the mix, yet Molly thoroughly enjoyed the leisure of drinking tea
