"Come on, mate, catch it."

James shouted, tossing a Golden Snitch toward Harry in the pram.

Harry was thrilled, his little hands smacking the pram's railing. He looked as though he desperately wanted to stand up and grab the glittering thing, but his godfather, Sirius Black, beat him to it.

"Stop playing, all of you!" Minerva warned them. "Hurry up and pack!"

"Yes, Minerva," James replied flippantly, then resumed tossing the Snitch back and forth with Sirius.

"Don't come crying to me when you get to the new place and have no clean clothes to change into," Pomona said.

"You don't need to worry about that." Sirius grinned mischievously. "I'm not living with them anyway."

"That's why I got married," James said just as carelessly.

"You can get divorced after getting married!" Pomona roared.

The two of them booed her together.

Pomona looked at the three of them and decided it was a complete waste of effort expecting them to act like adults. She went next door, where Peter Pettigrew was packing up the tableware.

"Don't take so much," Pomona said. "It's not like you're throwing a banquet."

"But Lily said we should take it all," Peter said.

Pomona went into the sitting room, where Lily was packing up photographs.

"You're going into hiding, not moving house. What do you need so much luggage for?" Pomona asked.

Lily jumped and tossed the photo album into a packing box.

"We don't know how long we'll be gone, so we should bring more, just in case," Lily said.

Pomona looked at the photograph in Lily's hand. It was one of Lily and Severus as children, when they had both been only eleven or twelve.

"You hung that picture on the wall?" Pomona asked.

"What picture?" Lily said nonchalantly.
