Sun Wukong in Journey to the West could pluck off a few of his hairs and blow on them, creating hundreds or thousands of Sun Wukongs.

But those Sun Wukongs were not real and would vanish on their own after a while. Dementors would not simply disappear into thin air.

The first time Harry summoned a corporeal Patronus had been quite surprising. With so many Dementors flying overhead, even wizards who had successfully summoned Patronuses before might not have been able to perform normally under those circumstances.

Yet the Patronus he summoned was so powerful that it not only drove all the Dementors away, but also made that entire area as bright as day.

By comparison, the ball of light he had summoned in the underpass during his fifth year seemed rather inadequate. No one but his cousin Dudley had seen it.

Whether it was stagnation or decay, Harry had been put on trial. Though Dumbledore's protection spared him punishment, others were not so fortunate. The gunshots drew many Muggles toward the scene to watch the excitement. Mixed in with the after-school traffic, they packed the streets so tightly that patrol cars could not get through. Only a mounted police officer rode against the crowd toward the supermarket. Later, the officers in the patrol cars abandoned their vehicles and proceeded on foot. After all, this was London, not Gotham.

A Joker holding balloons stood by the roadside, watching the spectacle along with the other pedestrians. Even beneath his heavy makeup, his expression was unmistakably blank and bewildered.
