"Make way, please make way."

Pomona turned around and saw Flitwick trotting ahead in tiny steps, with Jig chasing after him.

Students leaving class blocked Jig's path. Only after the Ravenclaw head disappeared around the corner did "traffic" begin flowing again.

Pomona was finding the whole situation more and more incomprehensible.

"What are you looking at?" Snape asked as he walked up beside her.

"I don't understand." Pomona pointed at Jig. "Why is he pestering Flitwick?"

"I think it's obvious," Snape said with complete certainty.

"You know?" Pomona asked suspiciously.

He stared at Pomona.

"Jig is up to no good."

Pomona could not help rolling her eyes.

"Tell me, what are your plans for February 14 next year?" Snape asked.

She looked at him suspiciously again.

"Lockhart is holding a new book launch on the River Thames. If you're free..."

"Won't you be in Scandinavia next Valentine's Day?" Pomona asked. "How are you going to attend a launch on the River Thames?"

"I'll find a way," Snape said.

"Focus on the competition. The old fool acts like he doesn't care, but he really wants to win," Pomona reminded him. "And do I look like a Lockhart fan?"

He fell silent.

By then, Jig had gone farther away. Flitwick used his wand to cancel the Disillusionment Charm on himself, and Pomona hurried after him, determined to find out what was going on.

Georgiana looked at the debris scattered across the floor without rushing to search for the "treasure."

She had two choices now. Either she could use a Repairing Charm to restore everything to its original state before looking for what she wanted, or she could search for something invisible amid the mess, just as she had searched for the Invisibility Cloak in the ruins of Godric's Hollow.
