The sound of the world's first air-raid siren appeared over London in 1917. It was the second time the city had fallen into danger since the Great Fire of London.

"I believe this is something you forgot to take with you." Lorban placed the blueprints for the "airship" before Georgiana.

She looked at the blueprints without speaking. They could have served as evidence of espionage rather than being placed before her.

"Please do not misunderstand." Lorban said softly. "I do not intend to do anything with it."

"Then what do you intend to do?" Georgiana asked.

"To remind you of two things." Lorban jumped onto the chair opposite her. "First, be careful. Do not forget something so important next time."

"And the other?" Georgiana asked.

Lorban fell silent for a moment.

"What do you want me to do for you?" she asked again.

"Other than your students, is there anyone in Britain you care about?" Lorban asked. "Family, perhaps, or friends?"

She looked at Lorban.

"Like you, I have people I know over there. So I do not wish for them to be harmed by the war." Lorban lowered his head to look at the airship blueprints. "What do you intend to do with it?"

"Same as before. Caesar chose his own fate; there is little I can do." She folded the blueprints and tucked them into the Trembling Flower Bracelet.

"That may not be so." Lorban studied her.

"What are you looking at?" she asked.

"Do you still love peace, Georgiana?" Lorban asked.

"With things as they are now, do you think peace can still be maintained?" Georgiana asked.

Lorban turned to look at the lakes and mountains.

"Imagine everything here shrouded in war and bloodshed." Lorban spoke heavily. "How would you feel?"
