He did not finish. He only pulled down Luna's small hands and wrapped them in his palms, rubbing them back and forth as though he were holding a rare, fragile treasure.
Luna pressed her lips together slightly. Vizet's palms were warm, like the unscorching sunlight of early spring, and that cozy warmth made her a little drowsy, even made her want to close her eyes and think of nothing at all.
Vizet's expression at that moment was very focused. Luna's fair hands seemed light as nothing, yet extraordinarily real. Even the softest cotton fluff would not have given him this feeling.
