Vizet and Harry hurried along the corridor. Harry struggled to process everything he had just learned, his head still buzzing.
Before this, he had just seen his parents in the Misty Illusory Realm, and from the conversation between Vizet and Dumbledore, he had learned a secret he was still trying to digest:
The reason Voldemort had survived being struck by the Killing Curse was that he had made a batch of amulets!
As long as those amulets still existed, even if Voldemort's body was destroyed, he could still hide somewhere and wait for another chance to rise again.
The moment Harry learned this secret, his scalp went numb.
The overwhelming surge of emotion from reuniting with his parents quickly subsided after he heard the news.
He almost immediately realized one thing: to destroy Voldemort for good, they first had to destroy every one of Voldemort's amulets!
After leaving the Headmaster's Office, he and Vizet had headed straight back to the eighth floor, intending to go to the Room of Requirement.
According to Dumbledore's speculation, one of Voldemort's amulets should be hidden inside the Room of Requirement.
Voldemort had most likely hidden the amulet in the Room of Requirement when he returned from his travels and came to Hogwarts to apply for a teaching post.
Dumbledore understood Voldemort very well, just as Voldemort understood Dumbledore very well.
Thus, they both knew that after Dumbledore became Hogwarts Headmaster, it was practically impossible for Voldemort to teach at Hogwarts as a Defence Against the Dark Arts professor.
Yet despite that likelihood, Voldemort had still come to Hogwarts Castle and accepted Dumbledore's interview. That could only mean one thing—
Voldemort's job-seeking visit had concealed a true purpose he genuinely wanted to accomplish.
Clearly, the most dangerous place was
