He raised his wand and gave it a light tap. The Ritual Magic Array that enveloped the entire world shone brightly once more.
The light rose like steam, gathering around those motes.
The motes grew larger and larger, as though shaped by invisible hands. They gradually took on distinct human forms and slowly descended back to the ground.
These figures manifested from the motes were not translucent and pearly white like ghosts. They looked exactly as they had in life, as though they had been reborn.
