Even after breakfast ended, while Vizet, Luna, and Dobby were competing to wash the dishes, Xenophilius was still in a daze.
He felt as though he were dreaming. He had all but forgotten how he had finished breakfast or what he had eaten. His mind simply couldn't handle anything more.
Pandora noticed and leaned close to whisper in his ear. "Phili, haven't you noticed anything different?"
"Different?" Even though his mind was barely working, Xenophilius forced himself to think over what Pandora had said.
"Yes!" Pandora nodded and pointed at her neck.
Xenophilius's gaze softened. "Penny, your neck shines like a unicorn. It's beautiful!"
Pandora blushed and gave him a helpless look. "Phili, I mean Luna's neck and Vizet's. Haven't you noticed anything?"
"Luna's neck?" Xenophilius blinked. The memory of breakfast surfaced, and his eyelid twitched sharply.
"She seems to have... a new necklace... It looks quite nice... And Vizet has one too... His looks even nicer. Luna must have given it to him!"
"Exactly!" Pandora nodded. This time, she gave Xenophilius a pointed look as well. "So... you understand now, right?"
"Uh..." Xenophilius opened his mouth, his eyelid twitching even harder.
He knew Luna well, of course, and he knew a little about Vizet too.
Neither Vizet nor Luna wore many accessories.

Luna was much the same. She wore the hand cord Vizet had given her, the bracelet she had acquired by chance while traveling with him in Sweden, and a wrist cord that matched his...
That meant almost every accessory they wore was connected to the other.
