A Brand-New Preventative Potion and Club
"What can be improved?" Luna broke the Yorkshire pudding in half again, handing the half with more beef filling to Wizet. "I want it sweet."
She unwrapped the Chocolate Frog from before, sandwiched it inside her Yorkshire pudding, and took a delicious bite.
Although Yorkshire pudding has the word "pudding" in its name, it actually tastes more like soft bread and is quite salty because salt is added during the making process.
The fillings can be either savory or sweet. You can add minced meat, or sweet fillings such as yogurt jam or chocolate.
Wizet. "If you like it, that's good. Is that enough?"
"That's enough," Luna replied.
She was still pondering the question from earlier, looking at Wizet who was also drinking the Preventative Potion, "Is this Preventative Potion... not magical enough?"
"Not enough magic?" Wizet shook the potion bottle, then floated up in the mirror to look at herself.
A person's ideas have their limits, and sometimes it is easy to overlook the factors that were previously valued.
In such situations, it's often necessary to have someone who understands you offer some guidance.
Wizet glanced at Luna, who was still emitting white smoke, and exclaimed in realization, "That's it! It's definitely not magical enough!"
"The texture and flavor are what I imitated, but more importantly... of course, it's the unique characteristics that belong to magic!"
"After taking the Invigoration Potion, white smoke appears... white smoke... I guess I'll have to consult a fireworks expert..."
After the Pouch Spider they encountered last time, Fred and George have acquired a new pet – a bright orange Fire Salamander.
This is the Fire Salamander they "rescued" from their Care of Magical Creatures class class. Now, instead of venturing into barrels, the two of them dedicate themselves to caring for the Fire Salamander, feeding it hot charcoal sticks.
It seems that feeding them charcoal sticks isn't their ultimate goal, because they might try to suddenly shove a firework tube into the Fire Salamander's mouth when it opens it.
The Fire Salamander is just a bit too quick to react; it will immediately close its mouth when the charcoal is removed.
"It's still not familiar with us enough," Fred said with some regret. "We'll have to feed it for another two days. Once it recognizes us, it'll be able to put fireworks in its mouth."
Luna asked curiously, "Why... why do you feed it fireworks?"
"I want to try something new and see if I can make one of those..." George swung his arms and twirled around, "... fireworks that inflate on their own!"
Fred added knowingly, "Yes! It's the kind of firework that you try to erase with Vanishing Charm, but it just keeps expanding!"
George raised an eyebrow, noticing the Preventative Potion in Wizet's hand. "What's wrong? You don't look like you have the flu..."
"The color seems off, doesn't it?" Fred stroked his chin. "I remember the Invigoration Potion we had... it was rather red?"
George sighed. "Sigh! This is what happens when Snape gives you special treatment!"
Wizet remained noncommittal, picking up the Preventative Potion and saying, "This is Preventative Potion for the flu, but Luna thinks it can be improved."
"Hey! You were the one who suggested it!" Fred and George exclaimed, both turning their gazes to Luna beside them. "How are you planning to improve it?"
Faced with their slightly teasing gazes, Luna explained frankly, "Wizet and I both think that after drinking it, we should also be able to produce white smoke."
The Weasley twins clapped together. "You two really have a knack for Invigoration Potion to ward off the flu!"
Fred scratched his head. "Making white smoke isn't difficult... but making it safe is a bit of a problem."
George added, "After all, we're good at making fireworks, but when it comes to Potions, we'll win if we don't lose points to Snape."
Luna took out her sketchbook, which featured a uniquely shaped bottle. "What if we used this?"
Fred and George both came over, glanced at the picture book, then looked at Luna, asking with curiosity and excitement, "What kind of bottle is this?"
Luna then looked at Wizet.
"This is called a 'Corde bottle,' and you can put the ingredients that make white smoke here..." Wizet explained.
He pointed to the transparent bead at the neck of the bottle, "When you drink it, you should press the tip of your tongue against this bead so that you can better drink the Preventative Potion inside and also come into contact with the components that produce white smoke."
"That's so cool!" Fred and George instantly understood and couldn't help but exclaim, "How did you come up with such a brilliant idea?"
Wizet laughed and said, "Actually, this is Muggle invention. Even my Preventative Potion is based on one of their drinks."
Fred nodded as if suddenly realizing something. "No wonder Daddy's obsessed with Muggle..."
George chimed in, "Yes! After all, that car is quite remarkable!"
To address the most critical security issue, Fred and George used their expertise, employing Alchemy to create the necessary powder.
This powder requires the Demiguise Feather, and its overall alchemical concept is similar to that of the Veritaserum, except that it produces white smoke instead of truth.
Based on her memory, Luna continued to refine and innovate the design of the Codd Bottle, redrawing it into the shape of the Dirigible Plums.
Once the bottle's shape is finalized, Wizet will use Transfiguration to mold the potion bottle into the corresponding shape.
Finally, by adding the Preventative Potion and alchemical powder, the brand-new Preventative Potion was successfully created just before Halloween.
Looking at the uniquely designed Preventative Potion, George suggested, "How about we start a club?"
Luna blinked. "The club?"
"I agree!" Fred immediately raised his hand in agreement. "Consider this Preventative Potion our first action!"
Clubs are actually quite common at Hogwarts. There are many long-standing clubs, such as the Gobstones Club, the Charms Club, and the Divination Club...
Like Wizet's roommates, Michael joined the Divination Club, Anthony joined the Charms Club.
Wizet occasionally participates in the Charms Club, but he joins as an assistant instructor. If Flitwick is too busy, he helps explain some tricks about charms.
There are also many short-term clubs, which are usually established because of a particular student, and the club will also disappear because of that student after the student graduates.
The Horace Club, organized by Slughorn, was one of the more famous ones, but it disappeared with Slughorn's retirement.
Although the Horace Club Horace Club disappeared, its name is still mentioned, as many famous figures in the wizarding world were once members of the Horace Club.
Seeing Luna's eager expression, Wizet naturally wouldn't refuse.
He raised the Preventative Potion directly, "Then let's toast to the successful completion of the first operation... Cheers!"
