After absorbing the Ancient Magic Power he could obtain, Vizet finally arrived at the Great Hall.

This time, he infused the power into the Magic Eye.

Although the Magic Eye was still at the beginner stage, it had gained a special ability—it could make the Magic Circuits of magical materials clear and visible.

Vizet walked toward the Ravenclaw table. An inexplicable malice emerged from the Slytherin table.

"I heard Miss Parkinson say he's an Obscurial? An extremely dangerous person? He looks pretty obedient, and he's good-looking too."

"It's only skin-deep. Find a Healer and use Permanent Transfiguration to alter it! You can make yourself look however you want."

"I don't want to end up hospitalized at St. Mungo's. The risks of Permanent Transfiguration are too great..."

"If this dangerous person goes berserk in class, we'll all be buried with him! Why would Dumbledore let him enroll?"

"He's far too dangerous! I don't want to die. Someone like him belongs in Azkaban. Let a Dementor kiss him!"

"I agree. Azkaban is where people like that belong!"

The Slytherins spoke loudly, seemingly wanting everyone in the Great Hall to know that he was an Obscurial, a dangerous person.

Vizet merely laughed it off. Not a ripple stirred in his heart.

In his previous life, he had lived in a Welfare institution. At school, his unusual identity had likewise brought him criticism and ostracism, even bullying. It had all been commonplace.

So before entering Hogwarts, he had already prepared himself mentally. He could face doubts and rumors with ease.

What surprised him, however, was that the Slytherin table seemed to be the only one that particularly cared about this matter.

The other three tables barely reacted. Their conversations focused on Harry Potter, the "Boy Who Lived."

A boy with a straight nose and long black hair sat down beside Vizet. "You really are eating breakfast in the Great Hall."

"Chris told me that some older Gryffindor students had dragged you away. I was even about to report it to Prefect Penelope."

"Michael, you just think Prefect Penelope is pretty and want an excuse to talk to her." Chris, whose brown hair was slightly tousled, sat across from them and said with a grin.

"Morning!" a blond boy greeted him. "Why is your book... so thin? Is it a hardcover edition?"

"Morning, Anthony!" Vizet replied. "It's not a hardcover edition. I just copied down the contents of the textbook, and Luna helped me add the illustrations and cover."

"Morning, Vizet!" Another brown-haired boy appeared. Frowning deeply, he asked, "Luna? Is she a girl?"

"Good morning, Terry." Vizet nodded. "Yes, she's my younger sister."

Chris Moen, Anthony Goldstein, Michael Corner, and Terry Boot—the four people speaking—were all Vizet's dormmates.

"You have such a considerate sister! My sister does nothing but cry all day. Sigh..." Terry sounded a little bitter.

"Will your sister enroll here in the future?" Chris leaned closer.

"Of course!" Vizet said thoughtfully. "We'll be able to meet next year."

"A sister who helps her brother draw—what a perfect life!" Chris said enviously.

"His life may be perfect, but what are we supposed to do?" Michael sighed. "Our first class is Potions!"

Snape's reputation really was terrible. These New Students had only just begun taking Potions Class, yet they were already afraid of it.

Even so, they brought their textbooks and headed for the Potions Classroom.

The Potions Classroom had a distinctive character. It was as spacious as a medieval monastery, and just as dim, with only a handful of torches providing illumination.

Before they even entered the classroom, a chilly atmosphere washed over them.

The classroom was on the first underground floor. Rows of tall shelves lined the walls, packed with Glass Jars.

In the dim firelight, it was impossible to make out what exactly was inside the foul-smelling Glass Jars.

Terry leaned toward the Glass Jars, then immediately backed away two steps. "Hiss! Are these animal specimens? Why do they all look so strange?"

"They should be specimens of Magical creatures." Vizet came over as well and carefully examined them. "Some of those transparent, hairy creatures should be Demiguises. The ones that look like Snakes with bird heads should be Occamies."

Luna loved the book Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them. It was also the first textbook he had thoroughly mastered.

Besides, the specimens had all been preserved perfectly, allowing him to identify their species with ease.

What seemed perfectly natural to him left all his dormmates amazed.

Terry clicked his tongue in wonder. "No wonder you were a Hatstall... You actually know all this so clearly!"

"Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them is very interesting, so I read it two more times," Vizet said.

"It's not just that, is it?" Chris interrupted. "I remember you saying that you copied down the textbook?"

Michael scratched his hair. "Did he? How come I didn't know?"

Chris teased him. "With your head full of beautiful Prefect Penelope, it would be stranger if you had noticed!"

The long tables in the classroom were covered in Scars, as well as burn and corrosion marks.

The Ravenclaw Students had arrived relatively early, but because of Snape's infamous reputation, none of them had chosen seats near the lectern.

Terry asked, "Vizet, aren't you going to sit farther back?"

Vizet shook his head. "The light isn't very good here. To be safe, it's better to sit closer. I'll be able to see more clearly."

"Impressive!" Anthony said sincerely. "There's a reason you already know so much at the start of the school year!"

"Indeed!" Michael agreed. "Daring to Face Snape requires not only extraordinary intelligence, but also exceptional courage."

Vizet was both amused and exasperated. "It's not that exaggerated. It's simply more convenient for studying. Besides, none of you have spent time with Professor Snape. Why are you already afraid of him?"

This Potions Class was shared with Hufflepuff, and more and more people began entering the classroom.

Yet no matter how many people arrived, they all chose seats toward the back, keeping as far away from the lectern as possible.

Even with only five minutes left before class, no one dared sit in the seat beside Vizet.

Just as the bell was about to ring, a girl with two blond braids hurried in.

Every seat near the front, except those beneath the lectern, was occupied. Left with no other choice, she could only sit beside Vizet.

It was Hannah Abbott, the girl who had been sorted first.

She wiped the sweat from her cheek and hurriedly arranged her textbooks before finally letting out a sigh of relief.

Snape arrived with the ringing of the bell. His black robes billowed as he swept into the classroom like a giant bat.

He stood on the lectern and looked down at everyone. Glancing at the red-faced Hannah, he said, "Hufflepuff loses one point. You nearly arrived late for the very first class. How dare you?"

Hannah lowered her head to her chest. Her body trembled slightly, and her face flushed crimson, as if she were about to burst into tears.

The other students held their breaths. The entire classroom seemed to freeze.

"We'll begin roll call." Snape said no more. His tone was cold and clipped. "Hannah Abbott!"

"H-here!"

Roll call proceeded quickly. No one let down their guard; almost as soon as a name was called, the student immediately answered.

"Not bad. There's only one fool today." Once Snape confirmed that everyone was present, his tone finally softened a little.

"As beginners, if you don't even have any sense of time, my advice is to leave here as quickly as possible, so you don't harm yourselves or others."

"Potions is a precise and rigorous discipline. Whether destruction or new life, everything is contained within a steaming Cauldron."

"I don't actually expect you to understand the allure of Potions, or what Potions can truly bring you..."

"All you need to do is follow my instructions completely. All you need to do is obediently imitate every step. Wealth, status, and honor will all be within easy reach."

The students' fear of Snape was clearly justified.

He was like a King, and the Potions Classroom was his palace. Here, he could control everything—even the students' behavior.

After delivering this speech, he did not begin the formal lesson. Instead, he glanced at Vizet from the corner of his eye.

"Mr. Lovegood, do you not have a textbook? Why have you brought a children's picture book to class? This is not an art class."

Michael Corner was rather "interesting" in the Harry Potter series. He dated Ginny and became her boyfriend, but after Ginny dumped him, he started dating Cho Chang in the same Academic Year. His preference for pretty faces was basically confirmed, and his "adjustment speed" was remarkably fast... All of this was recorded in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix. If you're interested, you can look it up.
