Drag Them All Down
Snap!
A vortex appeared.
Liam Graves returned to Woolworth Building, exhausted from his earlier exertion. He accidentally stumbled through the revolving door and entered the hall of the Magical Congress.
He looked up at the Great Clock, Great Clock hands had shifted and were now steadily pointing to the red "emergency" zone.
The Magical Exposure Threat Level rose to the highest level, making him feel even more uncomfortable, and he almost stumbled and fell.
A front desk wizard, as if he had been waiting for this moment, helped him up. "Mr. Graves, you look terrible."
Graves is indeed in very poor condition right now. The repeated use of Apparition has left him mentally disoriented and on the verge of S.P.E.W..
In Horcrux cases, the nail has even separated, leaving a piece of the nail behind. My index finger is now in excruciating pain.
What pained him even more was the current situation of the Auror and the Hit Wizards;
Because of the Fire Dragon's attack, the Auror and Hit Wizards suffered heavy losses, making them seem somewhat inadequate in dealing with the Werewolf under the full moon;
If it weren't for a group of animals that suddenly appeared, distracting some of the Werewolf and reducing the pressure on the Auror and the Hit Wizards, he couldn't imagine how heavy the casualties would have been to fight these Werewolf.
It was precisely because of this that he was able to catch his breath and buy time to return to the Magical Congress to see if there were any new solutions.
"It's alright!" Graves waved his hand and cast a simple Healing magic on his index finger. "You'll be staying here. Is there anything... the Chairman has planned for you?"
"Yes!" The receptionist nodded. "The chairman said that if you come back, you can go to the Auror Office to find him."
"Is there anything else?" Graves pressed. "For example, does the Chairman have any current strategies?"
"I don't know either..." The front desk wizard shook his head helplessly. "The chairman asked me to stay here, not only to wait for you, but also to meet up with the Fitchburg Finches and the Sweetwater All-Stars."
"Quidditch team?" Graves frowned, unsure why they were doing this.
He couldn't think straight right now; whenever he tried, his head felt foggy. "I'm going up now!"
Benjamin Graves stood before a metal map depicting the entire city of New York, with increasingly glowing areas indicating a growing concentration of magical activity within New York city.
Currently with him are the Triltopus Family from Ohio, Babajide Akingbade, representing the International Animagus Seminar and the International Confederation of Wizards...
There were even people from Hogwarts, a couple who were still students;
There are no staff members of the Magical Congress.
In response to the sudden appearance of several Fire Dragon and the Werewolf rampaging through the city streets, the headquarters of the Magical Congress has mobilized all its personnel.
Wizards from other states responded, but it will take them considerable time to reach the area and begin rescue efforts.
With the war years over and a series of reforms by the Magical Congress, they were no longer as closely united as they had been fifty years ago.
"Uncle... Chairman..." Liam Graves entered the Auror Office and, seeing it filled with unfamiliar wizards, immediately changed his address.
"Make way..." came Scott Triltopus ' voice from behind him.
Scott Triltopus walked into the Auror Office and went straight to Wizet, saying, "The potion has arrived, and we can begin operations at any time."
Liam Graves opened his mouth, first glancing at the nodding Wizet, then looking at Benjamin Graves, the Magical Congress President, "What's going on now?"
"Liam, you're back!" Benjamin Graves turned around, his brows furrowed with a hint of helplessness. "How's the situation outside?"
Liam Graves quickly reported, "The appearance of a group of animals helped our people control the Werewolf."
He suddenly realized something, rubbed his throbbing temples, and looked at Akinbade beside him, "Are those animals your people?"
Akinbade nodded. "After Animagus Transformation, it will be immune to the effects of Lycanthropy even if attacked by Werewolf."
Liam Graves quickly asked, "What about the Fire Dragon? Can the flying Animagus... hold Fire Dragon off?"
Akinbade shook his head. "Not at least not at this stage... Let Mr. Lovegood say it!"
Wizet picked up the conversation, saying, "So we prepared a second plan to use them to contain the fire..."
Before he could finish speaking, the receptionist rushed in, panting, and said, "Chairman! The players from the Fitchburg Finches and Sweetwater All-Stars have arrived."
Benjamin Graves nodded and looked at Wizet, saying, "Let's go then!"
Wizet smiled slightly, "I hope the Magical Congress can be more generous... This is no easy task."
"Of course!" Benjamin Graves sighed. "Regardless of whether it succeeds or not, we will increase our support for them."
"What exactly are you planning to do?" Liam Graves found a chair, sat down, and continued rubbing his temples.
He looked at everyone and asked in a pleading tone, "Can anyone tell me... what should I do next?"
Luna began, "We plan to bring the Fire Dragon to Central Park, and then use the Horned Serpent to drag them into the water and restrain them all."
Once Wizet connected the dots, he began to think about how to resolve the current troubles.
Ultimately, Luna came up with an idea: New York City wasn't just home to wizards, but also to a large number of Magical creature.
Among the creatures that could pose a threat to the Fire Dragon, the Horned Serpent, which belongs to the XXXXX category, led to Luna's plan.
"The Horned Serpent is quite large... but it's still not as big as Fire Dragon, right?" Liam Graves pointed out the window, where a bright fire was burning.
"Perhaps you haven't left here, so you don't know... exactly how many Fire Dragon there are... Even if Horned Serpent come out, how many Fire Dragon can they control?"
Luna replied, "So we need to make them bigger... we need Mr. Trelawps ' help."
Scott Triltopus grinned broadly. "What you New York can't solve, you end up begging Ohio to do!"
"When your uncle kicked us out of New York, did you ever imagine this day would come? You didn't expect it, did you? The Triltopus Family is back!"
Liam Graves's face darkened, but he didn't refute anything, partly because of the pain in his temples, and partly because he felt that resolving the crisis was the most important thing at the moment.
He looked at Luna and continued, "Where are the Quidditch players? What are they doing here?"
Luna smiled slightly, "They will be led by Wizet, flying with the Auror, and luring all the Fire Dragon to Central Park."
