Encounter with the Werewolf Professor
September 1st has come again, the first day of school at Hogwarts.
After enjoying a nutritious breakfast, with Dobby waving Dobby, Wizet and his companions boarded the Knight Bus and headed to King's Cross Station.
As they walked out of the alley, Xenophilius, with a serious expression, began a series of admonitions, just as he always did before embarking on long journeys.
"Remember to go to bed on time, and never stay up late... that's not a good habit..."
He also talked about the latest issue of the Daily Prophet, saying, "Sirius Black's movements are very strange..."
"Landing at that place... and continuing straight ahead... judging from his direction of travel, his destination is very likely Hogwarts..."
"I can't control Hogwarts, and you've all grown up... If you insist on going to the Forbidden Forest, then you must be careful! You must be extremely vigilant! Remember, I'm still waiting for you at home!"
At the end of the last school year, Wizet brought back some gifts from the Centaur, which Xenophilius happened to recognize.
"Dad, I'll be careful!" Luna said, shaking Xenophilius's hand. "Nothing will happen!"
"Sigh! Just like your mother!" Xenophilius sighed, sounding annoyed. "She used to love going into the Forbidden Forest, looking for this and that..."
"Since you've said so, of course Dad believes you!" He then looked at Wizet, who was smiling beside him. "Wizet, remember to take good care of Luna and make sure she doesn't get into any danger!"
"Of course!" Wizet assured him very seriously.
"Dad! I'm powerful now too!" Luna shook Xenophilius's arm again. "I'm Animagus too, and I've even mastered the Patronus Charm ..."
"Potions are powerful too!" Wizet added. "Last time in New York, we had Luna's Potions to help us!"
"Of course!" Xenophilius couldn't help but smile. "My darling is definitely the best."
"Anyway... be careful!" He coughed twice, trying his best to maintain his serious expression, and continued to instruct, "Wizet, you take care of yourself too!"
After passing through Platform 9 3/4, Xenophilius watched Luna and Wizet board the train, waving for a while before leaving.
Wizet and Luna arrived relatively early; the carriage was already somewhat empty, with only a few people scattered around, not quite enough to satisfy their needs.
They continued walking deeper into the carriage, intending to find an empty one to sit down.
"Wizet! Wizet!"
Colin Creevey's voice came from behind me.
He shouted excitedly and quickly ran to Wizet and Luna, "I... I saw that..."
"The Daily Prophet! They say you... you fought Fire Dragon... Fire Dragon!" His body trembled with excitement, and he struggled to finish his sentence.
He held up his Polaroid camera. "Can we... take a picture?"
Wizet looked at the Polaroid camera in Colin Creevey's hand and asked curiously, "Colin, isn't this the same camera as before?"
"Yes!" Colin Creevey nodded repeatedly. "Headmaster Dumbledore fixed it for me! Magic is truly amazing!"
"Once I learn this magic, I won't have to throw away anything that's broken in the house. I can fix it with just a wave of my wand!"
After taking the photos, Colin Creevey cheered and eagerly climbed into a carriage to show them off.
Not long after, the two found a carriage, settled their luggage, and sat down when a figure flashed past through the sliding door.
Luna glanced in the direction of the sliding door, blinked, and asked, "Wizet, didn't you think that person who just walked by... looked familiar?"
Before Wizet could answer, the figure that had just passed by reappeared in front of the two of them.
The figure was wearing a tattered wizard's robe, and his face looked extremely pale, as if he had not yet recovered from an illness, giving him a weak and listless appearance.
His face wasn't old, but his brown hair had streaks of gray; he was Remus Lupin, whom I had met once in New York.
Remus Lupin frowned slightly, a hint of trepidation in his expression. "May I sit here for a while?"
Wizet nodded. "Please go ahead."
"Thank you." Remus Lupin looked at the calm-faced Wizet, breathed a slight sigh of relief, closed the sliding door, and sat down opposite the two.
Wizet saw everything. The reason Remus Lupin acted this way was because of his special identity: he was a Werewolf Wizard suffering from "Lycanthropy Disease".
If we had to categorize the magical world into different classes, then Werewolf Wizard would be even lower in status than Squib.
When Werewolf Wizard transforms into Werewolf during a full moon, he will fall into uncontrollable madness and unconsciously attack any humans he encounters.
In addition, the Werewolf Wizard who turn into Werewolf during the full moon will continue to spread the Lycanthropy Disease, and other wizards will naturally be prejudiced against them, or even hate them, and push the Werewolf Wizard to the bottom of society.
It is for this reason that many Werewolf Wizard go to extremes, a prime example being Fenrir Greyback, who was notorious for his fondness for attacking children.
There are also Werewolf Wizard who don't go to extremes, like Remus Lupin right now;
Before Wizet and Luna boarded the ship back to England, Professor McGonagall mentioned Remus Lupin during a casual conversation;
Because of his identity as Werewolf Wizard, Remus Lupin could only do some trivial work. Whenever the full moon was approaching, he would leave his original workplace and go to a deserted place to transform into Werewolf.
Until the full moon ends, to avoid suspicion from his former colleagues, he will choose to move to another city, which is why he is in New York.
Compared to England, North America is much more vast, so even if you were to transform into Werewolf, the probability of harming innocent people would be lower.
Seeing Remus Lupin's slightly uneasy expression, Wizet spoke first, "Mr. Lupin, you are the new Defence Against the Dark Arts professor, right?"
Remus Lupin put down his suitcase and, after hearing Wizet's words, paused for a moment before nodding slightly and saying, "Yes! Just recently, Headmaster Dumbledore invited me."
He glanced at the sliding door and lowered his voice, saying, "Headmaster Dumbledore said he would prepare Wolfsbane Potion for me. I will not pose a threat to you."
"If the full moon comes, I will not stay at Hogwarts, nor will I go to the Forbidden Forest. I will spend my full moon in a secure place."
As he spoke, he observed Wizet's expression. Looking at that calm face, he felt very uneasy.
He was preoccupied with Sirius Black and forgot to mention Wizet and Luna, the two students who knew about his Werewolf Wizard identity, to Dumbledore.
"I won't stay at Hogwarts ...and I'll stay away from the Forbidden Forest ..." Wizet murmured, "And the Wolfsbane Potion ..."
Remus Lupin quickly replied, "Yes! Snape will help brew the Wolfsbane Potion."
