The Reward for Courage
The problem Lupin raised was indeed valid, but the two Auror, as employees of the Ministry of Magic, were powerless to change the Ministry of Magic's decision, despite knowing how wrong it was.
Lupin was well aware of this situation, so he didn't say much, and the two fell into an awkward silence.
After a long silence, the two Auror could only sigh. One of Auror said, "I hope your school starts smoothly!"
Another Auror chimed in, "We need to contact the scattered Dementor... so we'll take our leave now! Have a good start to the school year!"
Watching the two Auror disappear through the doorway, the train doors slowly closed, keeping the wind and rain out. Lupin couldn't help but sigh, "It's not easy for anyone..."
With a slight tremor, the Hogwarts Express sounded its horn and accelerated toward its final destination.
The students returned to their respective carriages. Although they were still a little shaken, it didn't stop them from starting to talk about the series of events that had just happened.
They talked about all sorts of topics, including the Ministry of Magic's recent actions, how could they have been so reckless as to allow Dementor to inspect the Hogwarts Express, which almost led to an accident;
There was discussion about the professor who suddenly appeared, and most people agreed that he was the new Defence Against the Dark Arts professor.
Given the Dementor' composure when out of control, the students are gradually developing a greater sense of anticipation for this year's Defence Against the Dark Arts;
There were also discussions about Wizet and the three Patronus. The gloom brought by the Dementor was gradually dispelled, and the entire Hogwarts Express became lively again.
"Darling, would you like to buy something to eat?" The Trolley Witch appeared in the aisle with a friendly smile, pushing her cart.
Lupin touched his pockets, then thought of his suitcase, and couldn't help but smile wryly.
Nevertheless, he stepped forward, but just as he was about to speak, the Trolley Witch spoke first, "Ah... long time no see! What would you like?"
Lupin looked slightly embarrassed and shook his head gently, saying, "Madam, I wanted to ask you for a favor, to tell my student..."
"If you feel unwell and still feel weak, you can eat a piece of chocolate, which can effectively relieve the symptoms."
"Of course, no problem!" The Trolley Witch reached into the cart, took out a Chocolate Frog, and stuffed it into Lupin.
"Honey, maybe right now you're the one who needs chocolate the most... You look terrible!"
"Thank you!" Lupin thanked the Trolley Witch repeatedly, his voice trembling with emotion.
He continued walking down the aisle, intending to return to his carriage only when he had calmed down.
When he got close to the train door, he saw that there were already two people standing there.
Colin Creevey held several photos in his hands, his voice tinged with trepidation, "Wizet, are these photos really okay? Would you like to take another look?"
Wizet took the stack of photos and looked at them carefully one by one. Finally, she nodded and said, "Of course, no problem. Have confidence in yourself!"
"Like these few..." He pulled out a few photos, "I'm actually not very good at this, but I can sense it..."
"Look! These photos are exceptionally well taken, they really capture the oppressive feeling of the Dementor! And these photos, you even captured the moment the Patronus drove away the Dementor..."
Colin Creevey tilted his head slightly, looking at the photos Wizet was holding, and gave an embarrassed smile. "Hehe! I like these a lot too..."
"So, have confidence in yourself!" Wizet folded the photos again. "Next, all you need to do is send them to Mr. Lovegood ..."
"Once Mr. Lovegood receives these photos, he will screen them again and select the best ones... He is very professional in this regard..."
"Oh, right! Colin, the payment will be delivered to you later... If you're worried about losing it, you can exchange it for pounds and have it sent to your home."
"Reward?" Colin Creevey scratched his head, asking with some confusion, "What reward?"
He quickly realized what was happening, looked at the photo in Wizet's hand, and said in a trembling voice, "No... no need!"
"Actually, I was planning to film those monsters too... You gave me the opportunity... Otherwise, I was actually a little scared..."
"No... I'm not scared..." he stammered, gesturing wildly, "Anyway... I don't need any reward!"
"That's not how it works..." Wizet smiled slightly, holding up the stack of photos and gently shaking them. "These are all the materials you provided..."
"They'll be published eventually, and it's only natural that the magazine will pay them... Don't you agree?"
"Moreover, facing so many Dementor requires immense courage. These rewards are because of your courage; you deserve them!"
"Because of my courage?" Colin Creevey stared blankly at the stack of photos. "In that case... how about you send them home for me? My dad and brother need them..."
"Of course, no problem!" Wizet. "Do you have your own owl?"
"Yes!" Colin Creevey nodded quickly. "My dad bought me one!"
"Then send the letter to this address..." Wizet took a piece of paper out of his pocket and wrote down an address.
He handed the address and photo to Colin Creevey, saying, "Oh, and you'd better write a separate note about the payment to your dad, then you won't need any further explanation."
Watching Colin Creevey leave excitedly, Lupin sighed with emotion, feeling much calmer.
He and Wizet simply exchanged glances and nodded to each other before returning to the carriage they had been in.
For some reason, Harry seemed particularly sensitive to Dementor; he fainted after only slight contact with one.
Although Hermione and Ron were there to look after him, he still needed to return to the carriage to check on Harry and make sure nothing bad happened to Harry.
Wizet returned to the carriage and recounted the series of events that had just occurred.
It seemed that he had actually killed a Dementor, Dementor appeared to vanish into nothingness, leaving only the cloak it was wearing.
The Dementor vanished, but the cloak remained... Was it some kind of magical material?
Wizet frowned slightly, pressed the tip of her wand to her temple, and tried hard to recall what the Dementor's Cloak looked like...
It was a hooded cloak, large enough to cover most of the Dementor's body...
The cloak was tattered and torn, with various holes of different sizes...
The cloak itself wasn't particularly heavy; as it fluttered in the wind and rain, it exuded a sense of lightness...
He put these elements together, pointed his wand at the window, and began to cast Summoning Charm in a low voice, "Cloak, Accio!"
