Dementor's Cloak
Wizet pressed the tip of her wand against the window, casting a Water and Fire Resistance Spell on it.
Under the influence of the Water and Fire Resistance Spell, rainwater fell along the edge of the window, making the window clearer than before, allowing one to see what was happening outside.
The Hogwarts Express passed through a lake area, but unfortunately the rain was still quite heavy, and the lake surface, which used to shimmer in the sunlight, was now only a gloomy gray-black.
Before long, the view outside the window became even more bleak, shrouded in wind and rain, appearing hazy and desolate.
Wizet frowned slightly. The Dementor's cloak still hadn't appeared. Perhaps ordinary Summoning Charm wouldn't work on items left behind by "Non-Being" Magical creature?
Since Ancient Magic Power was used to kill the Dementor, we can now use Ancient Magic Power to try something new.
"The cloak Accio!"
As Wizet chanted the incantation, the Obscurus Core pumped out Ancient Magic Power to power the Ancient Magic: Improved Summoning Charm.
The Hogwarts Express traveled through the highlands, where the surrounding scenery was even more pristine and magnificent, but unfortunately, all of this was shrouded in heavy rain, blurring the mountains and valleys into a single blur.
"They're here!"
Suddenly, a black shadow appeared outside the window. This shadow swayed in the wind and rain, as if being pulled by a force, constantly moving closer to his location.
As the black figure drew closer, Wizet could finally see clearly that it was indeed the Dementor's cloak, swirling like a ghost in the wind and rain.
As the Dementor's Cloak drew closer, Wizet stood up, lifted the window, and casually grabbed the cloak.
Luna glanced at the cloak, opened her mouth curiously, as if to ask, "Is this Dementor's cloak?"
Wizet sat back in her seat, leaned closer, nodded, and whispered, "Yes... it feels very strange..."
The Dementor's Cloak looks like a piece of grayish rag, but it doesn't actually feel like cloth at all; it feels cold and sticky to the touch.
Not only was the touch unpleasant, but the Dementor's Cloak also seemed to stir emotions. Wizet felt inexplicably irritated, and looking at the continuous rain outside the window, he felt a sense of gloom hanging over his heart.
"Strange?" Luna reached out and touched the Dementor's Cloak, her brows furrowing immediately. "A very bad feeling...like an abyss that will devour warmth and light..."
"I think so too." Wizet. "Perhaps that's why Dementor have become such... terrifying beings?"
"Can we wash it clean?" Luna blinked. "Like with that..."
"It should work." Wizet understood Luna's meaning and nodded slightly. "Let's give it a try!"
In unison, they raised their wands, drawing an "S" shape in the air, and whispered a spell over the Dementor's Cloak: "Dust and Grime Begone!"
Several Ancient Magic: Purifying Cleansing Soul Washing Spell were cast on the Dementor's Cloak, but they seemed to have no effect.
"It's not obvious like this...we should move it to the edge..." Wizet spread out the Dementor's Cloak, only pulling out one corner of the edge.
The two cast spells again, applying several Ancient Magic: Purifying Cleansing Soul Washing Spell to the Dementor's Cloak in succession.
This time, they finally noticed the change.
"The edges seem to have shrunk a bit," Wizet said.
"Yes!" Luna nodded, pointing to the edge and gently touching it. "Those rough edges are different now!"
Her tone was somewhat worried, "How about I hold it for a while... It must be very uncomfortable to hold this thing, right?"
"It's alright." Wizet smiled slightly. "We'll be at Hogwarts soon, I'll put it back..."
Before he could finish speaking, the Dementor's Cloak suddenly became transparent, as if transforming into some indescribable entity, and directly penetrated his body.
In an instant, he felt as if he were back in the time when he was troubled by Obscurus, and countless negative emotions arose and spread rapidly.
"Wizet?" Luna nervously, quickly grasping Wizet's hand. "What's wrong?"
Although she noticed the change in the Dementor's Cloak, her attention was focused on Wizet's face.
Wizet's face suddenly turned deathly pale, but the color quickly returned as the complexion returned.
"I'm fine... I'm sorry to have worried you..." Wizet snapped out of her reverie, squeezed Luna's hand, and shook her head. "It seems to have merged into the Obscurus ..."
"How are you feeling?" Luna asked quickly. "Do you want me to use magic to dispel it for you?"
"It seems...not necessary..." Wizet said softly, half-closing his eyes as he sensed the changes in the Obscurus Core.
Just now, when the Dementor's Cloak was emitting negative emotions, the Obscurus Core also changed. The deep, inky Obscurus Core spun rapidly, quickly absorbing everything brought by the Dementor's Cloak.
At this moment, the Dementor's Cloak, as if still draped by the Dementor, floated in the center of the Obscurus Core, surrounded by pure Black Mist, as if dispelling and purifying something.
It's quite normal, considering that his Obscurus Core has changed significantly after that trip to Sweden;
The malice originally generated by the Obscurus actually came from the curse of the skeletal figure, but now that the curse has been dispelled, the Obscurus's power has also transformed into primordial power.
According to his speculation, the ability to purify the curse must still exist, which is why he absorbed the Dementor's Cloak into it in order to purify it.
Wizet opened her eyes, looked at Luna, and said softly, "It's helping me purify the Dementor's Cloak... Once it's purified, let's see together what it will look like!"
Having received an affirmative answer from Wizet, Luna examined her very carefully. After a while, she finally breathed a sigh of relief, nodded, and smiled, "Mm!"
The nights in the Scottish Highlands are naturally a bit chilly due to the terrain.
Perhaps it was the presence of Dementor that made the Scottish Highlands feel oppressive;
The seemingly endless downpour made the air on the platform exceptionally cold and biting.
The moment the car door opened, a blast of cold, damp air rushed out, causing the students who had been waiting at the door to hiss and involuntarily shiver.
"First-year students! Come this way!"
Hagrid's voice rang out first, his tall figure blurred by the rain, but the lantern in his hand shone brightly.
The freshmen looked at Hagrid with difficulty, and guided by Hagrid's voice, they shrank their necks and screamed as they ran over.
"Crossing the lake in this weather..." Michael Corner shook his head as he watched the group of freshmen running towards Hagrid. "I wish them a safe journey..."
"What if I fall into the lake?" Terry Boot. "I've heard that Merpeople live in the lake, but I've never seen what they look like..."
"Is everything alright?" Anthony shook his head. "I remember the boat has magic... Let's hurry!"
"When will this rain stop?! Water and Fire Repelling!" He tapped his robe with his wand and charged into the rain...
