"Hogwarts Voice"

"It's quite novel..." Cho Chang watched as the "The Weird Sisters" band took their seats at the Teachers' Table.

"I really didn't expect... that you could play 'death metal' style music using those instruments."

"I have to say, the Sorting Hat's singing sounds really good when paired with this style of music."

"These are the ' The Weird Sisters '!" Anthony exclaimed excitedly. "No! They're geniuses! The best band in the wizarding world!"

After the Sorting Ceremony, Filius Flitwick left with the four-legged stool and the Sorting Hat.

Dumbledore walked to the podium, clapping as he did so. "Thank you to the ' The Weird Sisters '! Thank you to the Sorting Hat! Thank you for the wonderful Sorting Song!"

He lowered his hand, his expression turning serious, and said to the Owl Lectern with outstretched wings, "I believe you were already inspected by Dementor this afternoon..."

"I know you're all very happy, but I must take this opportunity to say something that will spoil the mood... I hope it will help you remember this and avoid any danger."

Cho Chang said in a low voice, "This is the first time I've ever seen... Headmaster Dumbledore so serious!"

Most students had similar thoughts; they unconsciously straightened their posture and listened to what Dumbledore was about to say.

Dumbledore cleared his throat. "For a long time to come, the Dementor sent by the Ministry of Magic will be active around Hogwarts."

"Those... Dementor?"

A noisy discussion broke out in the Great Hall, which quickly subsided after Dumbledore coughed again.

Dumbledore said in a deep voice, "Please be very careful! Dementor will be stationed at various entrances and exits in the vicinity, including the entrance to Hogsmeade!"

"Dementor are extremely dangerous Magical creature. They now operate on the orders of the Ministry of Magic, and given their evil nature..."

"They will not respond to any of your explanations or pleas for mercy; they will only think about how to hurt you and get what they crave from you!"

"If you have any questions about Dementor, please ask the Prefect for help and advice... We hope the Prefect will do a good job of spreading awareness and try to avoid conflicts between students and Dementor!"

On the Hogwarts Express, all the students gained a relatively deep understanding of Dementor, Magical creature, and learned that these Dementor absorb all good things.

I have also witnessed the horror of Dementor and felt their terrifying power to change the environment.

The Great Hall seemed to have been visited by Dementor; most of the students frowned, looking worried and frightened.

Dumbledore pursed his lips, observing the students' expressions. After a while, he clapped his hands to attract their attention.

He exhaled, the seriousness on his face gradually fading, and said in a steady voice, "Now let's talk about something more pleasant..."

"I'm sure you all already know something about Remus Lupin..." He turned slightly, extending his arm in an introducing gesture, "He will be the Defence Against the Dark Arts professor!"

Remus Lupin stood up, a shy smile on his face, and bowed to each of the college tables.

He changed into a clean blue robe. Although his face was still pale and his expression was somewhat weak, he had a completely refreshed look.

A round of applause rang out in the Great Hall. They had already formed a good impression of Lupin on the Hogwarts Express, so they naturally wanted to welcome him with applause.

Dumbledore said, "Professor Silvanus Kettleburn, who was in charge of the Care of Magical Creatures class, has retired, and our game keeper, Rubeus Hagrid..."

As Hagrid wiped away his tears, Dumbledore raised his voice and said, "At the end of last school year, Mr. Vizet Lovegood received the 'Most Promising Newcomer Award' from Transfiguration Today..."

"Starting this school year, Hogwarts will launch its own magazine— The 《Hogwarts Voice》! Any student can participate and make their voice heard in the wizarding world!"

"As long as you have your own ideas about magic and are willing to organize them into a complete paper, you can submit them to The 《Hogwarts Voice》."

"The paper doesn't need to be bound by any particular format. The key is to articulate your ideas and organize them clearly! There will be a dedicated person... a dedicated person responsible for reviewing the paper!"

"The special material is in charge of reviewing the manuscripts?" Upon hearing this last sentence, the students immediately began to whisper among themselves, filled with doubt and curiosity.

"That's right!" Dumbledore nodded. "Hogwarts has produced many outstanding wizards, and the portraits hanging everywhere are the best proof of that."

"And the people responsible for reviewing and annotating these papers are like portraits of erudite scholars... You will meet them then!"

"The accepted essay will be published in The 《Hogwarts Voice》 and distributed throughout the campus! And the student whose essay is accepted will receive fifty House Points!"

Upon hearing that they could earn fifty House Points, the students immediately erupted in excitement.

"Merlin's stinky socks! Fifty House Points!"

"If I write more papers, will I be able to surpass Ravenclaw?"

"If I write fifty papers, our college is guaranteed to win!"

"What are you thinking! You can't even finish your homework and papers, and you're thinking about writing fifty papers?"

Dumbledore added, "Of course... there is a cap on the number of House Points that can be earned in this way... Each student can earn a maximum of two hundred credits per academic year through papers!"
