Goals for Learning
"Are you really... alright?" Hagrid was still somewhat worried;
He cherished his professorship and did not want to become a professor who was dismissed from the school after teaching only one class.
Draco said with absolute certainty, "It's really all right now!"
Hearing Draco's affirmative answer, Hagrid finally breathed a sigh of relief.
To make sure nothing went wrong, he asked again, still not entirely sure, "So when you fell, you said 'Buck '..."
"I didn't say anything!" Draco interrupted Hagrid before Hagrid could finish speaking, raising his voice immediately. "Anyway, I'm fine!"
"That's good!" Hagrid finally breathed a sigh of relief. "Wizet, I'll head back now! Those little guys must have been terrified by my sudden departure!"
"Goodbye!" Wizet. "I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's Care of Magical Creatures class."
"You'll be thrilled!" Hagrid grinned. "You'll even be able to ride them and fly around the paddock..."
"They're so beautiful, they'd definitely fly in a completely different way than Flying Broomstick! But it's probably not possible to get them to fly as high as they did today..."
"It was quite a dangerous situation... I'm so glad you and Luna came to help me at noon, otherwise I wouldn't have thought of any of this. It was really too dangerous!"
Hagrid left, still somewhat shaken by the unexpected incident.
"Are you sure you don't need to get checked out?" Wizet watched Hagrid's retreating figure, then turned to look at Draco.
"If you feel unwell, it's best to get checked out to avoid any unexpected accidents, in which case you'll be the one who suffers the most."
"I'm really fine!" Draco waved his hands repeatedly. "That Hippogriff was too tall. I just slipped a little when I came down."
There's another combined lesson this afternoon, a lesson on Transfiguration with Slytherin.
Gregory Goyle found Draco in the hallway, and after exchanging a few words, he ran back to the Common Room to help Draco get his textbooks.
On the way to the Transfiguration classroom, Wizet asked curiously, "What did you all learn today?"
"I learned how powerful the Hippogriff..." This lesson left a deep impression on Draco, and he still remembered some details, "But I don't know how dangerous it was..."
"Actually, I think it's alright... not the most dangerous one..." He thought of what Hagrid had just said, that he actually took down a Troll with his fists, that was the real dangerous one!
"Indeed." Wizet. "That's why Hagrid is so remarkable, able to make such Magical creature docile..."
He thought of all the items in Hagrid's Hut, which were all made of high-quality Magical creature materials that were hard to find on the market.
"Not only Hippogriff, but also Occamy, Demiguise... You know Thestral? Hagrid actually helped raise them."
"Thestral? That's an ominous sign!" Draco tensed. "You've seen them?"
"Only those who have witnessed death and fully accepted and understood it can see Thestral," Wizet explained. "That's probably why they... find Thestral unlucky."
At first, he could only vaguely see the outline of Thestral through his Magic Eye;
Later, through the Patronus Charm, he explored the soul and happened to come into contact with death, which allowed him to truly accept and understand death, and to see the Thestral with his own eyes.
"In fact, it is also a type of Pegasus, Magical creature of the XXXX level," Wizet continued. "It flies very fast, no less than Flying Broomstick."
"So it's Pegasus!" Draco nodded, momentarily at a loss for words.
After returning from his New York Trip, Draco found that his life had changed.
His father Lucius Malfoy, talked to him less often, while his mother Narcissa Malfoy, talked to him much more often than before.
Narcissa's conversation with him was also strange; she told him not to restrain himself so much and to do things according to his own heart and his own ideas.
Draco felt somewhat bewildered by this, but he tried his best to process what Draco had said, reflect on what had happened, and try to clarify his own thoughts in order to decide what he should do.
Regarding Harry Potter's thoughts, from the moment his friend's invitation was rejected, he believed that a grudge had already been formed between the two, so he did not intend to make many changes.
It is for this reason that he and Harry Potter had a contest in today's Care of Magical Creatures class to see whose Hippogriff could fly higher.
It was for this reason that he made such an outrageous move after his defeat. His thinking at the time was simple: to cover up his defeat.
As for Vizet Lovegood, that was a completely different attitude from that towards Harry Potter;
There was no animosity between the two at the beginning. In fact, during the last summer vacation, Lucius even told him to get to know Wizet better.
Their longest period of contact was probably when they rode in a horse-drawn carriage at the start of school last year, and during the return trip after summer vacation, when he asked Wizet for help with his homework.
Although the time he spent with her was short, he occasionally heard news about Wizet from the professors or from various newspapers.
Draco had to admit that everything Wizet had now was something he had been instilled with and longed for since childhood—to become a person of fame and extensive connections.
Therefore, his idea about Wizet was to take Wizet as his role model and become someone like Wizet who could frequently appear in the newspapers.
Draco previously had another role model, namely his father Lucius Malfoy;
In terms of action, he learned one thing from Lucius: to take the initiative to create topics of conversation in order to avoid awkwardness and embarrassment and to make the meeting go smoothly.
Draco changed the subject from Thestral to, "Wizet, what courses have you taken?"
Wizet replied, "Ancient Runes and Arithmancy were also very interesting, and I was greatly inspired by them."
"Arithmancy?" Draco frowned. "What kind of course is that? I heard Divination Class."
"It requires using mathematical calculations to judge things, which is quite a challenging course," Wizet explained.
"It doesn't seem like... Wizards should be learning... subjects that aren't their forte," Draco murmured. "It doesn't even sound like... magic?"
"It's actually quite magical," Wizet chuckled. "Through Arithmancy, you can break some magical traps, which means you can become a Curse-Breaker ..."
"After taking Arithmancy Class, I was able to gain a new understanding and interpretation of magic from another perspective..."
"However, because we haven't been in contact with it for long, there are very few spells that I can reinterpret. So far, there is only one Wand-Lighting Charm."
