The Dementor Dealt With by Sirius Black
For the next few days, whenever Wizet had free time, she would go to the abandoned classroom to study the Boggart.
Boggart always lived in a locker, and in the initial studies, Wizet would experience a feeling of "opening a blind box".
He never released the protection of the Soul Maze. Every time Boggart wanted to Transfiguration, he needed to spend some time searching for a section of the Soul Maze to use as the source of Wizet's "fear".
In addition to his practical research, he also went to the library and collected a lot of relevant materials;
During this time, he also met Lupin, Lupin provided him with a lot of help and told him which books might contain information about Boggart.
Lupin knew this so clearly because his father Lyall Lupin, happened to be an expert in this field.
Lyall Lupin studied a wide range of subjects, including mischievous spirits like Peeves, Boggart, and other strange beings.
Ironically, even though Lyall Lupin didn't mind that his son was a Werewolf, Lupin couldn't get over it himself and took the initiative to cut off contact to avoid disturbing his father's life.
After all, there was no such thing Wolfsbane Potion at the time, Lupin was worried that when he turned into Werewolf under the full moon, unimaginable accidents might happen, and he might do something that he would regret for the rest of his life.
After confirming that the Boggart would continuously adjust its "fear" based on the Soul Maze, Wizet proactively modified herself to determine the content of a certain "fear," making it easier for the Boggart to Transfiguration.
This was inspired by Snape, Snape had done something similar to help him master the Patronus Charm by turning Boggart into Dementor.
After stabilizing Boggart's Transfiguration into "the examinee who drank the Forgetfulness Potion," he began a new round of research, trying to take the locker to various places to see if Boggart would be affected by the environment.
By conducting experiments on "changing the environment," he found that the darker the place, the more active Boggart was.
Boggart probably doesn't have the concept of memory, or you could use a pet-related concept to describe its behavior—it doesn't recognize people;
Wizet attempts to undo the modifications made to herself and restore the Soul Maze to its original state;
Boggart, who had already Transfiguration into a "test taker who drank the Forgetfulness Potion", was stunned again and only transformed into a new form after a while.
When Wizet made further modifications, it took Boggart some time to revert back to being "the examinee who drank the Forgetfulness Potion";
To verify this conjecture, Wizet modified several variables to test his idea.
It was through these continuous experiments that Wizet became certain that Boggart should not have any memory and therefore would not recognize people.
Otherwise, it should be able to directly transform into the corresponding thing upon encountering the relevant content, based on its previous memory.
On Saturday morning at Hogwarts, owls flew into the Great Hall, delivering the latest issue of the Daily Prophet.
Anthony opened the Daily Prophet and read the headline aloud, "Brutal Black: Rebel Against the Gods! Slaughtering Dementor! The Ministry of Magic is in Panic!"
"What's going on? Dementor... can it die?" Michael opened his mouth, then immediately looked over. "Like the Boggart, it's a ' Non-Being ' creature, right?"
"Yes!" Chris agreed. "Our Defence Against the Dark Arts assignment this week is to write a paper on ' Non-Being '."
"Ahem! Let's see what it says!" Anthony cleared his throat. "In a heinous act of magical violence, Sirius Black has once again unleashed a wave of terror!"
Upon hearing the title, Wizet and Luna exchanged a glance and made a shushing gesture.
They moved quickly, and after Luna put her fingers down, she smiled with her eyes crinkling and her lips pursed.
Anthony continued reading, "A new victim has appeared! And you would never guess that this victim is a Dementor, Dementor embodying both terror and mystery!"
"Just a week ago, when the Ministry of Magic was taking stock of the number of Dementor, they discovered an extremely horrifying fact—one Dementor was missing!"
"After extensive searching, investigation, and confirmation, the Ministry of Magic has obtained a shocking fact— the Dementor are dead! Undoubtedly, this tragedy has heightened Sirius Black's dangerous status!"
"The death of the Dementor may even shake Azkaban's position, and at the same time reveal a startling fact: the Dementor are not invincible!"
"Sirius Black! He's not only a cold-blooded traitor, but also the most loyal follower of the He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named! What did he learn from the He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named that enabled him to kill a Dementor?"
"And will the skills he learned from the He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named bring an even greater crisis to the magical world? This remains a chilling mystery!"
Minister Cornelius Fudge of the Ministry of Magic stated that the seriousness of this incident could not be underestimated, and that the Ministry of Magic was doing everything in its power to investigate and was appealing to all wizards to provide any relevant information.
"This is serious..." Anthony took a sip of Pumpkin Juice, his smile barely concealed. "Azkaban's position could really be shaken..."
Terry laughed too. "Cornelius Fudge must be having a tough time lately... I wonder how many times a day he's getting 'greeted'?"
Chris cut a piece of bacon. "Anyway, my parents sent a letter to the Ministry of Magic... because of that article from last time."
"Oh...no wonder!" Michael drawled. "After all, the Daily Prophet just said something about ' Dementor ensuring students' safety on the first day of school'..."
"The report that followed said that the Dementor had rioted, and the Auror who were with them fought back bravely. In the end, they joined forces with the teachers and students of Hogwarts to quell the riot."
"The key point is... The Daily Prophet couldn't provide photos, but that report presented various photographic evidence to show that the two Auror were not negligent and that the responsibility lay with Cornelius Fudge."
Anthony said with a grin, "That's good, so that Cornelius Fudge won't try to shift the blame to someone else again."
Michael asked with concern, "But Black is too dangerous... He actually killed a Dementor, how did he do that?"
Chris shrugged. "Maybe we'll only find out what he's got after he's caught?"
"You tell me..." Terry drawled, "Wouldn't this be considered a life-saving bargaining chip?"
"Originally, after the Dementor captured him, they planned to give him a 'kiss' right away, but now..."
"That makes sense!" Chris exclaimed in realization. "That way, the Ministry of Magic will definitely interrogate him again! At least until they find out this secret, he can save his life!"
