• Cedric, Harry, Draco, and Vizet studied underwater dangers and prepared Gillyweed, the Extraction Charm, and the Patronus Charm for the Second Task.
• Vizet created a freezing lake-like practice space, where Harry, Draco, and Cedric trained to cast the Patronus Charm underwater.

After Hogwarts won the Second Task, Vizet and Luna explored their growing connection while Vizet led a study of the founders’ magical creations and developed a new Wolfsbane Potion theory. His experiments on Fenrir Greyback revealed a connection between lycanthropy, bloodline magic, and Consensus Magic, while Filch’s strange Fake Wand suggested a Squib might be able to use magic.

• Fleur Delacour rescued her companions from Grindylows, and the champions completed the Second Task as Kwame Mensah helped the Uagadou team escape.
• The judges awarded Vizet and Hogwarts first place, and Luna and Vizet spent the evening together by the lake, where she asked whether he had used Consensus Magic.
• Vizet explained his ideas about Consensus Magic to Luna, and Snape later suspected Vizet had also helped restore the Merpeople’s eyes.
