Vizet contained his Obscurus, found a family with Luna and the Lovegoods, and discovered his unusual connection to Ancient Magic and wands. After meeting future classmates on the train, he arrived at Hogwarts and the Sorting Ceremony began.

• Vizet recovered his predecessor’s memories, absorbed the Obscurus with Guardian Meditation, and was taken to St. Mungo’s by Dumbledore.
• Vizet met Luna, became part of the Lovegood household, and protected her from a Runespoor with a powerful Shield Charm.
• Vizet gained a scholarship and found a special wand that awakened his Magic Eye, then repaired a Black Wand and impressed Ollivander with his wandmaking knowledge.
• Vizet helped Hagrid bargain for Fluffy and traveled to the Burrow, where the Weasleys welcomed him as he prepared for Hogwarts.
• Vizet met Cho Chang and Lee Jordan on the Hogwarts Express, learned spells from his books, and developed an Improved Summoning Charm that retrieved Neville’s toad.
• Vizet crossed the Black Lake with Hermione, Ron, and Harry, then used Accio to rescue Trevor when the toad fell into the water.

Vizet settled into Hogwarts, developed his magic, and joined Ravenclaw’s Quidditch team while becoming caught between Snape’s suspicions and Quirrell’s lessons. The arc ended with Snape deciding to teach Vizet himself as Dumbledore and Snape watched Quirrell and Voldemort’s plans unfold.

• The Sorting Hat let Vizet choose Ravenclaw, and Dumbledore welcomed the students before the feast and warned them away from the Fourth floor right corridor.
• Vizet met Professor Trelawney, heard her prophecy about a new star and a disguised Dark Lord, and later learned about the Philosopher’s Stone and Quirrell’s probing of the guarded room.
• Vizet impressed Snape in Potions and McGonagall in Transfiguration, earned house points, and wrote to Luna, who replied with seeds and a pendant.
• Vizet visited Hagrid, offered to help heal injured creatures, and then rescued Anthony Goldstein during a flying lesson by stopping his fall with Ancient Magic Power.
• Vizet studied Metamorphic Transfiguration Theory, joined Ravenclaw’s Quidditch team as a Chaser, and learned the Healing Charm from his teammates’ notes.
• Harry told Vizet that Fluffy guarded a package taken from Gringotts, while Vizet later learned that Voldemort was attached to Quirrell and wanted to use him as a vessel.
• Quirrell taught Vizet the theory of the Affliction Curse and Compound Magic, while Voldemort ordered Quirrell to observe Vizet and Harry and investigate the Fourth floor room.
• Snape questioned Vizet about Quirrell, learned about the fishy smell and chill in his office, and invited Vizet to study the Affliction Curse with him.

Vizet survived the Troll attack, learned that Voldemort had targeted him for his Obscurus, and continued developing his magic despite the danger. After a Transfiguration experiment left him hospitalized, Dumbledore explained Vizet’s unusual talents and entrusted him with research connected to Gellert Grindelwald.

• Dumbledore warned Quirrell that Voldemort wanted Vizet’s Obscurus, while Vizet studied Dark Magic with Quirrell and developed a cleansing spell that eased the Obscurus’s effects.
• Vizet helped Fred and George improve their fireworks, and Quirrell used Voldemort’s magic to set a Troll loose during the Halloween feast.
• Vizet fought the Troll with Fred and George, dissolved it with Die Sick Torment, and used Guardian Meditation and Dust and Grime Begone! to regain control of the Obscurus.
• Dumbledore told Vizet that Voldemort had returned and was targeting him, and Vizet decided to keep attending Quirrell’s lessons while Fawkes gave him a mark to call for help.
• Vizet studied Devil’s Snare with Professor Sprout, used Magic Eye to observe its magical circuits, and accidentally transformed a Christmas Cactus into vines that lifted and restrained him.
• Vizet demonstrated his Vine Shaping spell to Professor McGonagall and Sprout, then collapsed from exhaustion and spent two days recovering in the Hospital Wing.
• Vizet used Ancient Magic to gain Ancient Magic: Self-Shaping (Devil's Snare Form), which let his transformed fingers sense nearby objects, before Dumbledore praised his Transfiguration talent.
• Dumbledore explained Vizet’s soul, Obscurus, and Magic Eye, then gave him a protected notebook containing research he had written with Gellert Grindelwald about prophetic Heavenly Eyes.

Vizet healed injured creatures, won Ravenclaw’s Quidditch match, and spent Christmas with Luna while his potion work drew Voldemort’s attention. After returning to Hogwarts, he began Occlumency lessons with Aberforth, who warned him to prepare for Voldemort’s Legilimency.

• Vizet used Ancient Magic to remove Acromantula venom and a Poison Curse from injured Crumple-Horned Snorkacks, then healed them and received Unicorn Hair Bandages from Hagrid.
• Vizet scored repeatedly against Hufflepuff, helped Cho Chang catch the Snitch, and led Ravenclaw to a 320-to-40 victory.
• Vizet spent Christmas with Luna, gave her a protective magical hand cord, and received gifts from Hogwarts staff and friends.
• Voldemort drank Vizet’s Soul Soothing Potion and ordered Quirrell to keep Vizet nearby, while Snape later found that Vizet’s Obscurus affected the potions he brewed.
• Vizet told Harry and Ron that Nicolas Flamel owned the Philosopher’s Stone, then brewed potions under Snape’s supervision, revealing that his Obscurus could release Dark Magic through them.

• A Legilimency scroll triggered Vizet’s Obscurus to attack Aberforth, who warned that Voldemort was watching Vizet and taught him to use warm memories to build a maze in his soul.
