The Sima Family is an Everlasting Family with a longstanding enmity toward the Zhuge Family. This rivalry directly shapes its hostility toward Lin You after Qin Feng uses a Zhuge Family token to defend the Lin Family from Inspector Dai Wenzhao. 66 67 69

After Dai Wenzhao dies at Lin You's hands, the family considers the incident an affront to its reputation. Its ancestors dispatch Sima Yunhan to investigate the death and bring Lin You back, offering the Divine Son position as a possible reward for success. 54

Conflict with the Lin Family

Dai Wenzhao's death and the Yunhan expedition

The Sima Family responds to Dai Wenzhao's death by sending Sima Yunhan into the Sixth-grade Star Domain. Yunhan gathers local powers, orders the Lin Family's extermination, and demands Lin You alive. 54 65

The family frames the Lin Family's actions as three capital crimes: launching war without authorization, murdering an Inspector, and provoking the Everlasting Family. The Lin Family refuses to surrender Lin You. 67

Lin You returns in time to break the siege, pursues Yunhan across the Sixth-grade Star Domain, and kills him with a single sword strike despite Yunhan revealing his hidden strength. 69 73 74

Dragon Court campaign

During the Dragon Court opening, the Sima Family publicly protests the Zhuge Family's rapid Dao Fruit collection and threatens that retaining the fruits until departure will be the true test. 119

Sima Kongzhang leads a coalition of Longevity-family cultivators against the Zhuge Family, using resentment over Dao Fruits to unite hundreds of attackers. He claims the Sima Family will lead the assault while taking none of the seized Dao Fruits. 124 126
