Background / History

Lin Ye was an Earthling from the Chi Wu Star System who described himself as ordinary aside from being “luckier” and smarter than others. The angels did not accept this explanation after he cracked the Heavenly Blade Judgment, regarding him as far more unusual than he appeared. 13

While confined on Island One, Lin Ye escaped an energy-barrier prison through the Concept Rewrite Engine, decomposed technological constructs for Decomposition Value, and infiltrated the Angel Grand Research Institute. There, an attempt to dismantle a Celestial Computer pushed the Engine into overload. 4 5

He later built a personal Low-End Heavenly Blade System by producing 108 Sophons and combining them according to Heavenly Blade System principles. 11 His work for the angels included repairing and upgrading systems aboard Heavenly Blade battleships, developing tailored Angel Genes, and creating the portable Great Heavenly Blade. 15 16
