Background / History

Morgana arrives near Earth aboard Demon One after learning that Angels have appeared on the planet. She intends to travel to Huang Village, use demon-gene reincarnation technology to restore dead demon subordinates in compatible human vessels, and expand her forces on Earth. Her hostility toward Holy Kaisha is immediate and longstanding. 32

At Huang Village, Morgana has the residents rounded up, resurrects Atto in the body of a local man, and offers other strong young men the chance to gain demonic power and freedom by joining her faction. When Yan intervenes, Morgana captures her with Demon Claws and attempts to convert her into a succubus before Lin Ye forcibly opens the claws. 33

Morgana later confronts Lin Ye repeatedly over Demon One, demon technology, and control of Earth. Although she initially attempts to recruit him as a Demon Commander, his growing power forces her into negotiations, technological exchanges, and eventually a volatile personal alliance. 34 41 83 186

Appearance

Morgana typically appears as a tall demon queen in a tight black leather outfit, exaggerated makeup, pointed ears, black demonic wings, and high heels. Her presence is associated with dark energy and the spatial emergence of Demon Claws. 34 176

  • Demon form — Black demonic wings, pointed ears, leather attire, and a heavily made-up appearance. 34 176
  • Angel form — Known as Liang Bing; her demon wings retract and are replaced by Angel Silver Armor, voluminous wavy hair, an orange skirt, and silver high-heeled boots. 85
  • Divine Body — Possesses a Fourth Generation Divine Body, allowing regeneration even after her body is reduced to a single molecule. 41 42

Personality

Morgana is proud, provocative, impulsive, and intensely protective of her authority as Demon Queen. She presents herself as a champion of demons being “fallen and free,” but becomes enraged when her subordinates damage her Fallen Castle or challenge her control. 33 78

She is strategically capable when confronting greater threats. Morgana uses Demon One’s calculations, spatial technology, hostage-taking, recruitment, and bargains to pursue her goals. She also recognizes when direct confrontation is disadvantageous, retreating or negotiating against Lin Ye when his abilities exceed her expectations. 35 41 83

Despite her harshness, she can show restraint toward her followers. After discovering that Lin Ye had tampered with their language systems, she spares a demon who appears to insult her and remotely repairs the system rather than punishing the victims. 79

Abilities & Skills

Fourth Generation Divine Body

Morgana possesses a Fourth Generation Divine Body supported by Demon One.

  • Can regenerate after being physically destroyed; she revives repeatedly after Lin Ye’s Star Fate attacks. 41
  • Her connection to Demon One supplies energy and supports her combat capabilities. 41 42
  • Lin Ye is able to interrupt this connection while analyzing her Divine Body with the Concept Rewrite Engine. 42

Demon Claws

Morgana’s signature weapons are massive claws deployed through miniature wormholes.

  • Can seize and restrain powerful Angel combatants such as Yan. 33
  • Can interfere with Yan’s attempt to connect to Heavenly Blade Seven through nearby electromagnetic interference from Demon One. 33
  • Can strike targets remotely and intercept communications, as demonstrated against Lingxi. 39
  • Were upgraded into Night Devouring Demon Claws by Lin Ye; the improved version possesses enhanced power and black-hole absorption capabilities. 46
  • Their activation phrase was later altered by Lin Ye, exposing a vulnerability in Morgana’s systems. 79

Wormhole and Spatial Technology

Morgana commands advanced wormhole and spatial-locking systems through Demon One and the Fallen Castle.

  • Deploys Demon Claws through wormholes in combat. 33 34
  • Uses spatial positioning technology, parts of which Lin Ye seeks and obtains through negotiation. 70 83
  • Can lock down space around the Fallen Castle to restrict enemy wormhole escape. 81
  • Her technology is nevertheless exploited by Lin Ye, who teleports Demon One and Xue Yi away through Demon One’s own wormhole. 83

Demon Gene Reincarnation

Morgana preserves deceased demons through demon-gene technology and can restore them in suitable hosts.

  • Resurrects Atto using a human vessel in Huang Village. 33
  • Recruits strong humans as potential demon soldiers. 33
  • Plans to rebuild and strengthen her demon force on Earth through conversions and recruitment. 32 71 72

Dark Energy and System Control

Morgana can channel dark energy and directly manage demon systems.

  • Breaks an altar seal with dark energy and an ancient password, releasing Da Bulun. 74
  • Subdues Da Bulun with Demon Claws and compels him to recognize her as Queen. 74
  • Remotely modifies her demons’ compromised language system, restoring their ability to speak normally. 79
